@DFYNE dc ELIZABETH 3 exercises for a deep back line/3 ways to train your erector spinae! Your deep back line comes when you develop your erectors (the muscles running alongside your spine) so we need to be training them! RDLs, good mornings and hyperextensions are my favourite ways to train my erectors for a deep back line. Not only back exercises give you this thick/3D back!! #gymtok #backworkout #fitnesstips #gymrat #upperbodyworkout
@DFYNE dc ELIZABETH. Face pulls for rear delts and not traps? Here’s some quick fixes to make your face pulls actually work your rear delts. Face pulls are my fave way to train rear delts and get upper back detailing for that thickness and 3D look through the upper back! Add face pulls to your next shoulder and back workout! #facepulls #backworkout #fitnesstips #gymrat #shoulderworkout

Gym crush interaction?! My gym crush saw me lateral raising a low weight but little does he know. I can’t do any more kg reps!!! He forced me to rep out more lateral raises but my shoulders were done for! Having a gym crush is so fun😛 (he’s my bf). Hyperextensions are the secret exercise for a deep back line and glute growth!!! For glutes, round your back and rotate feet outwards. Squeeze at the top to feel this deep in the glutes! Glute workout isn’t complete without hyperextensions. Glute workout glute day leg day @DFYNE dc ELIZABETH #gymtok #glutes #gymrat #glutegrowth #gymgirls

4 exercise glute workout (no hip thrusts)! This is a simple but extremely effective one hour glute workout for the busy corporate gym girlies!! A glute workout doesn’t need to be long to be optimal. Start with RDLs, then move into Bulgarian split squats - both can be done on the smith machine to same time and set up, then end with hip abductions and hyperextensions (glute focused!). Save this for your next lower body/leg day! @DFYNE dc ELIZABETH #gymtok #glutes #gymrat #fitnesstips #xyzcba

Glute focused hyperextensions can be hard to do when needing to load more weight, having an EZ bar that comfortably sits on your arms is so much easier! Try this for your next glute workout day! @DFYNE dc ELIZABETH #gymtok #glutes #gluteworkout #gymrat #fitnesstips
My glutes grew the most when I understood the difference between hip thrusts - hinge vs scoop methods! I prefer a hinge movement far more - but the scoop method is also correct! You might get back pain in either variation, so pick the one that works for you!! Either way, hip thrusts should be a firm exercise in your glute workout @DFYNE dc ELIZABETH #glutes #hipthrust #gymtok #gymrat #fitnesstips
Face pulls before and after.. face pulls for rear delts is perfection! But getting them wrong is so easy - I had to learn for ages to get my scapula out of the movement. Changed the game! @AYBL dc ELIZABETH10. Face pulls are a fantastic exercise for targeting rear delts and traps. There are three options for how to perform face pulls, seated standing or kneeling. Do you know the difference between the three? I like to sit down because it removes any balance or coordination. I also do struggle with back pain sometimes! Kneeling is widely considered one of the best options. What do you do? #facepulls #GymTok #fitnesstips #backworkout #gymrat
@DFYNE dc ELIZABETH. Don’t double up on movement patterns in your glute workouts- don’t do 2 of the same abduction movements in the same session! Hip abductions and cable kickbacks are very similar, so pick one! Your glutes will see the most growth when you simplify the glute workouts #glutes #GymTok #gluteworkout #gymrat #fitnesstips
@DFYNE dc ELIZABETH. Toning a muscle doesn’t exist. You can’t tone anything. Lifting heavy, til failure, is how you look ‘toned’, accompanied with a low % of body fat. Just a gym girly reminder! High rep low weight is a lie meant to scare you into lifting heavy!!!!! #gymgirl #gymtok #gymrat #backworkout #fitnesstips
Rear delt fly - 3 methods. One - unilateral cable rear delt fly. One arm at a time! 2 - bilateral on the cable, both sides at once. 3 - pec deck/rear delt fly machine! All good options - rear delts help add detail in the upper back/back of the shoulders. Add to your back workout!! @DFYNE dc ELIZABETH #gymtok #reardeltfly #upperbody #backworkout #fitnesstips
Face pulls not targeting rear delts? Make these fixes: drop using the scapula. Isolate rear delts! Don’t drop your arms - keep them high almost as if in a bicep pose. Face pulls add upper back/back of the shoulder detailing - add them to back workout for a sculpted 3D look. @DFYNE dc ELIZABETH #gymrat #facepulls #backtraining #gymgirl #backworkout
My workout split that helped me develop my glutes and back! This is a 5 day split that can be done over the week in any order you prefer. I am not saying to do any of this back to back. Day 1: glutes and hamstrings. Day 2: back and biceps. Day 3: shoulders and triceps. Day 4: glutes and quads. Day 5: back! Gym split for women, 5 day gym split. Gym split for beginners. @DFYNE dc ELIZABETH #gymtok #gymsplit #gymroutine #glutes #gymworkout
@DFYNE dc ELIZABETH. If you train back but only train your lats, you won’t get a deep back line or that 3D back you want. Train your erector spinae through RDLs, good mornings, hyperextensions, and remember your rear delts (face pulls, rear delt fly) for that upper back detail. Your lats are important, but your rhomboids, rear delts, traps, and lower back are also key for a thick back and not just a wide one! Gym girl reminder!! #gymtok #backtraining #facepulls #gymworkout #xyzcba
Do you not feel your RDLs in your glutes? Romanian deadlifts are really hard to get right, try this gym hack the next time you have a glute workout. Place your knee on a bench, and perform your rep single leg/unilaterally. This not only helps you isolate one side of your glutes but also gives stability and allows you to feel the movement in your glutes! @DFYNE dc ELIZABETH #gymtok #glutes #gymworkout #glutegains #fitnesstips

@AYBL dc ELIZABETH10. It’s hard to feel like you’ll never progress in the gym - but one day you will see all your gym progress fall in line. Record your progress videos, compare your technique improving, and wait patiently. If you are disciplined, motivated for results and consistent, the gym has no other choice but to work for you! Happy October - let’s get your winter arc started! #gymworkout #xyzcba #gymrat #facepulls #gymmotivation
