- This smells to high heavens of a union job. #welding #weld #wtf #fyp
- What are we paying for top tier, fully custom fishing carts? I'm talking bells and whistles or simple and basic - made right here in Florida. I whipped this one together - my first fishing cart I've built from scratch.... but I would do a bunch of things differently. That's the best part about custom metal fabrication. Everything can always be done better, more efficiently, engineered a different way... You are constantly learning and growing from your mistakes! Any feedback would be great! I'd love to hear from the veterans of fishing to hear about market gaps and potentials. I'm pretty new to fishing so I don't really know what's available out there. Shit, if you're an engineer and have had some good ideas for stuff to make for fishing, let's partner up! I have just about a full metal fabrication shop in Melbourne, Florida. You design shit, I'll build and market ot. Thank you and fish on! #Welding #Fishing #SurfFishing #fyp #metalfabrication
- Got a bunch of aluminum laser welding practice in today. Thank you Tyson from Fine Iron for the tip about using .045" (1.2mm) 5356 aluminum wire. I bought a couple spools of the ones XTool sold on their website and it would bind up every 3 seconds. Switching to that wire made the world of difference. The wire feeder didn't bind once! I laser welded all day between making these sand spikes and on bunch of 1/16" wall aluminum tubing and it worked like a dream. The frame had such little heat distortion compared to what TIG welding it would've done. Time under the hood is the only way to get better at it! Anybody, drop your best aluminum laser welding tips, please! I'm running the 1200W XTool MetalFab. #welding #laserwelding #xtool #metalfabrication #fyp
- Another monster table build! Features a 10'x40" steel table top with beveled edges pair with a parametric style X base that's all locked together with 1"-8 threaded rod. #welding #metalfabrication #fabrication #fyp #hamlinwelding
- First time using my XTool Laser welder on a live project! Overall, it was a great success (Borat voice). Suoer impressive how it lays a TIG bead like a MIG welder! Check out the full video on YouTube! #welding #laserwelding #metalfabrication #xtool #fyp
- Applying Gyeon's Q2 Matte EVO ceramic coating over a satin clear powder coating to give the tabletop a little more wear resistance, water, and UV protection. This tabletop is for a full table build I am doing for a customer. It is 10' long x 40" wide and 1.5" thick. The base for it is a base we've made in the past - our X Panel Base. It's made of 14G mild steel and features a beveled edge and an inner support frame. Precision Powder Coating out of Melbourne, Florida, did the beautiful satin clear coat on it! Big shout-out to LaserBros for folding the table top for me! They had to send back multiple sheets to get one with minimal blemishes. Greatly appreciate those guys! - The new Ellis 2000 cutting some ½"x12" (13mm x 305mm) steel plate. #welding #metalfabrication #tools #fabrication #metalwork
- Unbox this beauty with me 🤗 Ellis 2000 series bandsaw! The highlight of this tool for me is that it miter cuts 60° both ways up to 7" wide material. And it'll cut up to 17" wide flat at 90°! No more hand cutting stringer channels for me!🙌 Super grateful for the growth of the business! #welding #metalfabrication #metalwork #bandsaw #fyp
- Working on a storage method for my sheet metal that will double as a jib crane/gantry to place the sheets onto my laser table. I left some room on on the shelves because I think some day I'll make them into big rolling drawers. Excited to finish this up and use it when the laser table arrives! #welding #metalfabrication #fabrication #sheetmetal #fyp
- My son and I hooked a fish at the same time! His hype still has a smile on my face ear to ear. Watching the video over and over again just melts my heart. Because even as a grow men, we act the same way if we have a decent fish on 🤣 #dadlife #fishing #fyp #spottedseatrout #snapper
- I was messing around with the settings on my XTool Laser welder a little bit to get some practice and to see what the different settings do. You can change the laser's power, beam width, scan frequency, and the wire feed rate so there's a ton of adjustment. You definitely need to be careful not to turn it up too much, you might melt through the other side of your material 😅 I now have an XTool affiliate link in my bio so if you're looking to grab one, save yourself some money and use it! #welding #laserwelding #xtool #metalfabrication #metalwork
- Yes, we felt absolutely terrible for the stingray and is was a wrap for fishing that day. Our feet got pretty cut up in that water. Not the best idea to go out there in slides! 😬 At least I have some protection on my feet now that I have these water shoes! They're just my dedicated fishing shoes now and they're perfect! I wear a size 10.5" shoe and their 10.5" fit great. #fishing #stingray #fyp #watershoes #tiktokshop
- A drill bit chuck for your Impact! They are super convenient and I feel like they are a must have for your packout! #tools #drill #protip #fyp #tiktokshop
- Made my @Blackstone Griddles some custom shelves and gave them a trial run today with some fried rice! I did take them off so I can bring them to the powder coater... I made the new shelves with the same hole centers as the existing handle and shelf so they just bolt right now with the same hardware. Next design will have a way to fold it down so the cover still fits over it. If anyone with a Blackstone like this wants some custom shelves, shoot me a DM! #welding #metalfabrication #blackstone #grill #fyp
- Fishing Table? Fixture Table? I have no idea... I bought all this fishing gear on my business card and I'm making a video of it so I can write it off on my taxes. #welding #fishing #protip #reel #fyp
- VideoI created this little custom end cap so it was super easy for my customer to install. Something didn't jive with my CAD model and it placed that post too far up from where I wanted it to land. So instead of driving all the way back (5 hour round trip), I made this so I can just mail it. I shaped the steel plate to a piece of tubing that was cut at the same angle as the one on the job site. I 3D printed that little block to have the same angle as the tube and left a slot on the backside so the internal seam doesn't get in the way. I boxed this little guy up with an included a tube of super so the customer can unbox in and throw it on there. I know it's a small detail but I know it'll help someone down the road or you can even start making your own custom end caps like this for hidden connections, etc. #welding #fabrication #protip #tipsandtricks #fyp
- Swipe ➡️ for some in progress shots of this staircase build! Looking forward to see the space all finished up and operating! This will be The Lab Fitness, located in Delray Beach, Florida. Very happy with how this project went! The treads on this one were 48" wide, pretty standard horizontal ½" solid round pickets, and custom made handrail brackets. Steel grating treads from McNichols! You don't realize how wide a 48" staircase is until you build one 😅 Enough room for two people to walk up side by side! I predrilled all the handrail brackets onto the guardrail posts and onto the handrail for easier on-site assembly. Super glad I did that! I used Flange Head hex bolts from McMaster for all the hardware. I love how that style of bolt adds a nice industrial aesthetic to a project! They cost a little extra but it's worth it! I custom made all the handrail brackets a few 35° left and rights for the staircase and a few 90°s. I show how I fixtured up them on my @siegmund.welding table. Overall, it was a really fun project and I'm grateful that everything went smoothly. Big thanks to @precision.powdercoating1998 on the beautiful finish!! #welding #metalfabrication #fabrication #staircase #hamlinwelding
- I've gotten so many comments about my "Ryobi" forklift so I gave it the proper tag. #ryobi #forklift #fyp #funny #tools
- This circular saw is an absolute beast of a unit! It's a Fein Slugger and it takes a 9" metal cutting blade. This thing is loud and heavy but it's an amazing tool to have in your arsenal. @FEIN_US @FEIN U.K. Power tools #welding #metalfabrication #fabrication #tools #fyp
