- Making little brackets like this got so much easier with my laser table! I have a bunch of tables to build so I needed some more back stops for accurate, repeatable bends. I whipped up a couple more backstop brackets for the homemade press brake with my @swagoffroad kit. Two tons of sheet metal coming tomorrow, I'll be putting the laser to work! Save yourself $600 with code RSHAM when you purchase from @rslasertechnology ! #welding #metalfabrication #tips #fiberlaser #fyp
- Replying to @brattainandsonwelding This is McCurdy Metal's video (from Instagram @mccurdymetal) of his cuts through 3/8 and 1/2 AR500. my settings are not correct, it can cut 1/2 clean. I'm 100% new to laser. you are just being hater 😆
- A lot of work in 30 seconds on these stainless steel curved X table bases! Super stoked on being able to laser cut my own projects in house! Going to be a learning curve on that thing but I don't think it will take me too long to get dialed in. I'm very happy with my RS Laser Technology Eco 2.0 so far! It was a helluvatime getting it assembled but all that aside, it was worth the aggravation. For about $30k delivered, with the compressor, is a damn good deal! If you're interested in purchasing an RS Laser machine or have questions about my experience, DM me and I will give you a code that will save you some $$! These bases are heading up to Colby & Company for an architectural brass finish in Boston, MA. Super excited to see how they turn out! Then they'll be off to Seebald Construction who will be putting an absolutely beautiful, monster slab off wood on them! #welding #metalfabrication #laserwelding #stainlesssteel #fyp

Perfect for garage repairs, auto fixes, and weekend projects. Tap the orange cart on screen to grab yours! #arccaptain #mig130 #weldingtok #tooltok #tiktokshop
- I've put quiet a few hours under the hood with the XTool laser welder these past couple of days. Burned up about 10 lenses before I realized a few things I was doing wrong. ✔️ Torch angle definitely matters with the laser gun and you have to be especially careful when you're not welding in the flat position. Hot spatter beads can fall into your barrel and get on your lens very easily. ✔️ Keep your torch orifice clean - same way you do with a MIG gun except cleaner. Pull the barrel off, look down it and make sure its clean! ✔️ Be able to recognize when and which lens needs to be changed. If your torch seems like its blowing flames... your lens is cooked. ✔️ I can notice pretty quickly if my laser is off center because the gun will no longer "walk" itself while it welds. When you have a good bead going with the laser, you just let it drive itself and very carefully steer it. The smallest tack will throw you off and you have to anticipate them by lightening your hold on the torch so it rolls over it. #welding #laserwelding #xtool #fyp #explorepage
- You used to have to buy a $3,000+ passivation machine to be able to clean stainless steel! Nowadays, you can passivate with a $750 welder that does everything else too. The Arc Captain MIG205MP is the ultimate multiprocess machine! Weld, cut, and passivate with one tiny machine. #welding #arccaptain #mig205mp #fyp #tiktokshop
- A plasma cutter that can cut almost 1" thick steel for $270 is kind of crazy 🤣 I've had my Arc Captain Cut55 Pro for a of couple years and hasn't failed me yet! This thing can pay for itself 10 fold! A 5-10 gallon tank is recommended at 90 PSI but it runs up to 60 PSI while cutting. All depends on how long your cuts are and the thickness you're cutting. You could sneak a few quick cuts with it off a pancake compressor on the fly 🤷 Also, run it on a 20-30 amp breaker to save yourself some trips. Pun intended. @ARCCAPTAIN #welding #plasmacutter #arccaptain #tools #tiktokshop
- We cookin' now ladies and gents! Fabricating some custom table legs for an absolutely beautiful, massive slab of wood! #welding #metalfabrication #lasercutting #stainlesssteel #fyp
- First cut on our @rslasertechnology 4'x8' Eco 2.0 Fiber Laser table! It was a frustrating but great learning experience. I am now a certified laser table professional. 😆 (I say that very lightly) But boy... We are super pumped up about our new capabilities and really looking forward to the future of Hamlin Welding! So much blood, sweat and tears were shed to get to this point. Might not be a big deal to some, but this is everything to my family and I. I truly appreciate all of the helpful comments and tips I've gotten from everyone! This is a new realm for me and I'll take all the help I can get! ❤️ RIP Jarius Hodge ❤️ 1146 St Lucie Fire District 3 #welding #metalfabrication #fiberlaser #cnclaser #fyp
- Two awesome Arc Captain tool bags for $40! Makes a great gift for your welding loved ones! @ARCCAPTAIN #welding #tools #toolbag #arccaptain #tiktokshop
- The most comfortable headgear on a welding hood... and it's only $40! The ArcCaptian welding hoods always impress me. Their headgear is the same, if not better, than my 3m 9100xxi 's. The auto-darneking sensor on them are ultra fast and the true color tech is exactly what it sounds like. When you're welding, it's just crystal clear and you're really able to see your puddle and everything around while protecting your eyes from the harmful arc. Highly recommend for beginners, weekend shop welders, garage tinkerers or just to have one as a spare. #welding #weldinghood #migwelding #tigwelding #arccaptain
- Very inexpensive welder extension cord! Every welding shop or mobile welder needs one or two of these! It's a 30amp Nemp 6-50 and it comes in 40' or 20'. Don't forget to stack coupons! @ARCCAPTAIN #welding #migwelding #tigwelding #tiktokshop #arccaptain
- One machine that does dang near every process. The ArcCaptain MIG205MP handles MIG, TIG, Stick welding, metal cleaning and Plasma cutting... all in a small, super light red box. It's a portable workhorse that would make lite duty site work super easy. Or its perfect for small shops and garages where you don't have room for several welding carts! #migwelding #tigwelding #stickwelding #arccaptainmig205mp #tiktokshop
- Our fiber laser table is literally down to the wiring! I have to run the compressed air line and get the electrical done on Monday then we should be cutting some metal! I'm just loving how clean and beautiful this table is! RS Laser Technology really stands out against the rest of the fiber laser table manufacturers. They're affordable for us smaller shops and they look absolutely sweet! #welding #metalwork #metalfabrication #cnclaser #fyp
- Finally got my hands on the ArcCaptain TIG200P ACDC! I’ve been wanting to test out the AC TIG side on these compact inverter machines, and I am dang impressed. It’s crazy how smooth of an arc it holds on aluminum and steel. Truly a solid machine for the price, and easily one of the best setups if you’re looking to get your feet wet learning AC TIG without dropping thousands. Link is at the orange cart if you want to check out the specs! #arccaptain #tigwelding #aluminumtig #welding #tiktokshop
- How many times did I say BAG in this video?! 🤣 Seriously though, I'm genuinely stoked on these welding bags and the 12" tool bags. Arc Captain really nail it with these! They would make a perfect gift for your beloved welders or for yourself. That welding hood... 🔥 - I'll post a video on that soon as well! #welding #toolbag #welderbag #tiktokshop #fyp
- Out with the diesel and in with ZR2! I'm fully satisfied with the swap. This thing is fully loaded with all the new fun AND safe features! Sport mode activates the dual action exhaust (my kids love that), Normal mode with give you a decent MPG and Offroad mode will engage the upgraded suspension. Assisted driving, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, etc. Leather interior, yellow accent stitching, some carbon fiber - it's freaking gorgeous! Best part is - FOREVER WARRANTY! 4 years of free maintenance, oil changes, etc, 8 years free on the Chevy app giving me remote access to my truck around the world. I appreciate Matt Bell over at @bonifacehiers.chevrolet in Melbourne, Florida for making our second purchase with him a great experience! We're always super excited to give him our business! #welding #chevrolet #zr2 #chevytrucks #fyp
- This quick calibration on your laser welder will save your lenses and get your welds looking tight and crispy! This video shows you how to fix your laser welder by going into the system administrator settings and adjusting the your lasers focal point to the center of your wire. You should do this and check this everytime prior to using your laser welder. Especially after changing the wire out or installing your Fine Iron Fix It Kit! #welding #laserwelding #protip #xtool #fyp
- After a crash out and a phone call, I finally got the X Tool Laser welder and Fire Iron's Fix It Kit running like a charm! Even after messing around with it when it wasn't set up properly, I managed to not cook any lenses. Before I put the kit on, I burned up quite a few of them. The only thing relatable between laser welding and other welding processes is that SETTINGS MATTER! And it's a different ball game of settings! I appreciate all the help and I've been trying to return the favor by answering questions and sharing the knowledge I've learned (the hardway and from the big dawgs of lasers - @Baer Welding and Fine Iron! I've got a small project for a local-ish customer that I'll be fully laser welding. #welding #laserwelding #xtool #metalfabrication #fyp
- Getting closer to completion on the sheet metal rack jib crane! #welding #metalfabrication #fabrication #fyp #explorepage
- Man or monkey? I ain't no swinger but I had to test out the Jib arm with my fat ass on it. Safe to say, she ain't goin no where. #welding #metalfabrication #fabrication #fyp #explorepage
- Got the hinge bolted onto my sheet metal rack for the jib crane! Just need to make the beam, figure out the roller and suction frame. I will probably make it have the ability to switch between magnets and suction cups. I already have an electric hoist that'll mount right it. That low profile mag drill from @FEIN_US came in clutch! Blasted those 3/4" holes through that 1/4" wall tubing like butta. #welding #metalfabrication #fabrication #fyp #hamlinwelding
- I learned welding in prison. I don't like to talk it about it too much on here because of the stigma around it "ex-cons". I'm of that very small percentage that made it out. I hope this might motivate others. It's possible to change but are you willing to put in the work? I made a lot of bad decisions as a teenager and young adult and prison was just one of the crazy events in my life. I paid the price my decisions and completely turned my life around. I owe it all to the love of welding and metal fabrication. I came home from prison to homeless shelter (The Grace House in Rochester, NY) with nothing but a small bag of personal belongings in 2017. Welding has been the rocket that took my life from homelessness to an absolute dream life in Florida with the most amazing wife, 3 cool ass sons, sand in my toes almost everyday, a sweet workshop, and just a million other things I could list. All while not a single person can say "must be nice" about my life. Work as hard as I have and you can have it, too. I thank God everyday that I'm still alive or not in prison for the rest of my life. He had a bigger plan for me and I've just been following the path, giving everything my best effort, giving back to the community when and how I can and just Shining My Light. I am raising 3 boys that will be men someday and they will know nothing in life comes without hard work, shedding some blood and some tears. They will how to treat all people with respect and love and they will know how to be loved. I owe a huge thank you to my welding instructor Matthew Carbone from the Gouveneur Correctional Facility in NYS. Maybe this will pop up on his FYP if he has social media 😂 Shit, I owe a huge thank you to NYS Department Of Correctional Services because their services worked for me. I am CORRECTED! Sorry for the audio, it was windy on the beach and I used the noise reducer in the video editor. #welding #trades #prison #fyp #explorepage
- I ordered a couple Hamlin Welding flags so I'm advertising while fishing on the weekends with the kiddos. My advertising and marketing budget is going up this year. Can't be out there with raggedy fishing gear!🎣😅 #welding #metalfabrication #aluminum #fishing #fyp
