This will be The Lab Fitness, located in Delray Beach, Florida. Very happy with how this project went! The treads on this one were 48" wide, pretty standard horizontal ½" solid round pickets, and custom made handrail brackets. Steel grating treads from McNichols! You don't realize how wide a 48" staircase is until you build one 😅 Enough room for two people to walk up side by side! I predrilled all the handrail brackets onto the guardrail posts and onto the handrail for easier on-site assembly. Super glad I did that! I used Flange Head hex bolts from McMaster for all the hardware. I love how that style of bolt adds a nice industrial aesthetic to a project! They cost a little extra but it's worth it! I custom made all the handrail brackets a few 35° left and rights for the staircase and a few 90°s. I show how I fixtured up them on my @siegmund.welding table. Overall, it was a really fun project and I'm grateful that everything went smoothly.
