- CALLING ALL MY COST-HOS!!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Finally, after years of mooching off of other peoples’ Costco memberships, I’m finally getting my own. Well, not on this day… But I did go back a week later and get my official Costco card! Yiipeeeee!! Here’s to bulk buying groceries and splitting them amongst friends in 2026 💝 Can’t wait to start filming “shop with me at Costco” videos again hehe #grwm #costco
- IB: @saltnpepperhere It’s the year of cabbage!!!!! WOOP WOOP! 🥬 here’s to a year filled with fiber and cabbage!! My plans of eating more veggies than ever has been successful to far, but now it’s time to stay consistent for the rest of the year!! Please send me any and all cabbage recipes you like hehe #recipe #cabbage #food
- How many years do you have to live in the snow before it gets old? Because I can’t see myself getting tired of it soon!! Though admittedly I don’t have a car and am lucky enough to work from home, so I have the privilege of simply admiring the snow from the comfort of my home… But I swear, eating warm hot soup of any kind in this snowy weather will never get old to me!
- My quick 10 minute savory girl breakfast. (: This has been my recent breakfast hyperfixation. Cong You Bing, a popular Taiwanese street food! In Taiwan, I would get them stuffed with cheese and ham. They were salty and umami with a slight sweetness that was addicting. Between my partner and I, we probably ordered at least 12 street food pancakes during the short week we were in Taiwan… One day I’ll be able to eat it in Taipei again, and that moment will be glorious!
- CALLING ALL MY GARLIC GWORLS!!!!! 🧄🧄🧄 Your garlic breath may be gnarly after cooking up this garlic confit… but I promise you it’s worth it!! Cook your garlic low and slow, and you’ll get a soft creamy lil clove that’s perfect to add to any savory dish that needs a garlicky punch. (‘:
- Broiled Miso Eggplant! I’ve also replaced the eggplant with zucchini and that was delicious, too. The cross hatching is pivotal, as it allows the sauce to seep in & allows the veggies to cook all the way through. Clearly I’m on a broiled miso kick… Now I’m just thinking about the other things I can drown in miso and broil…. #recipe #food #eggplant #cooking
- 📍Yamato Sushi, Brighton, MA The way I thought I would eat 2x more sushi than I did smh… My appetite is growing smaller as I age and I hate it!! The fish was SO fresh! It was definitely VERY rice-dense though, so keep that in mind. The sushi was better than I expected, and I would definitely come back for their weekday lunch special. This is your sign to go to all you can eat sushi!! #boston #food #sushi #ayce
- 📍Yamato Sushi on Brighton It was so lovely to have a little date with Cass considering the sh*tty week we had, and also the fact that they’re starting school again! Few things are better than a lovely sushi date in my humble opinion hehe This is your sign to go eat some sushi today!!!!
- Get ready with me to eat as much sushi as I can humanly stuff into my body!! Baggy outfit and sushi earrings on, I’m ready to engorge myself on nigiri and rolls now hehe Also it’s Cass and I’s first date together since their top surgery! It felt so nice to get out of the house and go to a new restaurant (‘: We ended up going to Yamato sushi on Brighton! Top @Cider Skirt @MUJI USA Keychain @POP MART US
- 📍@MiniLuxe Brookline always does right by me <3 My girls slayed as always!! After a series of unfortunate events, I needed a treat yourself day, and where else am I gonna go besides my tried and true?! I love going to Maruichi afterwards and getting some sushi hand rolls or onigiri. Highly recommend the combo set or the spicy karaage onigiri (especially if it’s freshly fried). If I’m feeling frisky I’ll bring a matcha latte into my nail appt ;) It also happens to be next to Brookline Booksmith which is my fave bookstore too!! This lil routine has been my favorite self care activity hehe
- “Power Smoothies” — healthy & yummy nutrient dense smoothies that my partner has been requesting very morning as they recover from top surgery! It’s a great way to get rid of all the frozen half-eaten fruit & veggies I store in my freezer. My smoothie non-negotiables are: - Protein powder - Collagen powder - Hemp Seed Hearts - Chia Seeds If you have any other recommendations on how to make these smoothies even more nutrient packed, I’m all ears. Always looking for ways to get more nutrients in!

- Kitchen Maintenance Day!!! I try to do this at least once a month, but sometimes a couple months slip by without me noticing…. When I do remember to do this, cooking is always 10x more pleasurable! A sharp knife is always so lovely to use! Sweats are from @aelfriceden_official (and they’re my favorite things to cook and lounge in hehe) #kitchen #cooking #oiling #maintenance #howto
- Broiled Miso Black Cod (Sablefish), my partner’s favorite! Cass loved this dish before we ever started dating, and I remember their reaction when I made it for the first time. They couldn’t believe how easy it was to make, and how much they’ve paid for it at restaurants before. Skip the high restaurant bill and cook this dish at home yourself! (‘: #recipe #food #cooking #fish
- Cooking Korean Dumpling Rice Cake Soup — Mandu tteokguk 🥟 🍲 The broth is made with bone + anchovy tablets, along with dashi and umami salt. There’s few things better than a warm, comforting, healing soup when you’re house bound, and we both gobbled this soup up. Dare I say I like it better than the version my local restaurant serves?! #recipe #soup #korean #food #cooking
- Are your feeds also being completely consumed by this viral Japanese “cheesecake” hack? It’s just Greek yogurt with cookies stuffed into it. I think it’s a fun way to jazz up Greek yogurt, but it’s certainly not a cheesecake. A plain yogurt bowl topped with granola and honey would probably taste better, tbh, but this was fun to try! I’ll be eating this for breakfast for the next couple of days lol Cy being on time for a viral trend for once?! I think in my five years of content creation, this is the first time I’ve been able to join a food trend (in a timely manner)! #yogurt #japanese #trend #cheesecake
- A quick 15 minute cabbage stir-fry dish! It’s meant as a “side” but it’s good enough to be a main in my humble opinion ;) I wanted to make sure Cass was getting tons of fiber to combat any potential side effects of their pain medication, so I quickly whipped together this classic — stir fried cabbage! It’s sharp & vinegary, sweet & slightly spicy. I used a savoy cabbage, which is much better than a traditional green cabbage for this recipe. Taiwanese cabbage is the absolute best, as it tends to have looser leaves, but hey, this is what I had on hand! Sauce: - soy sauce & black vinegar Seasonings: - msg, umami salt, sugar I can easily clear a whole head of cabbage in one sitting when it’s cooked this way! #cooking #recipe #vegetable #stirfry #fiber
- Get ready with me to head to the grocery store during a cold Boston winter day (as a previous California baddie)!! Shout out to this bear hat — it’s the warmest one I’ve ever owned and tbh I would have passed away this winter without it I won the pocchaco bag from a claw machine in Taiwan! Hair oil @Olaplex
- 🧄 GARLIC GWORLS, WYA??? Have you made garlic confit yet? I’ve been spreading it on toast, adding it to any potato dish, adding it to rice, soups, proteins... Anything savory really! The key is to heat the garlic cloves low & slow. The lowest possible setting on your stovetop, or around 200-250 degrees in your oven. #garlic #recipe #confit #food #cooki
- What I Feed My Partner as they Recover from Top Surgery! Today was a simple reheating of many frozen meals. Thank goodness for Trader Joe’s ready-to-eat products. Special thank you to my moochie for letting me share such an intimate process. Originally, we were going to keep the entire experience private, as Cass isn’t a traditional public figure and it’s an incredibly vulnerable experience. But they felt it was important to have positive portrayals of top surgery and recovery for any queer trans youth that may be watching. To any trans person watching, you are valid, loved, and deserve all the goodness in this world. Thank you again to Cass for allowing me to talk about your experience <3 It’s the greatest pleasure of my life to be your partner throughout this.
- Korean dumpling rice cake soup! Mandu tteokguk!! It’s typically eaten on the new year, which just so happened to be when Cass got their top surgery. I’ve been cooking up tons of comforting meals for them, and I’m so happy they’ll be entering the year more comfortable in their body. This soup is SUPER simple to make, especially if you already have rice cakes and dumplings on hand. Then it’s just a matter of boiling everything so that it all harmonizes into a delicious soupy glory! #cooking #food #korean #soup
- What I cook for my partner recovering from top surgery: Stir fried Vinegar Cabbage! It takes less than 10 minutes to cook up yourself (: perfect for anyone who wants to get more fiber in their diet! Sauce: - soy sauce & black vinegar Seasonings: - msg, umami salt, sugar #cooking #recipe #food #cabbage
- Cooking up a trendy classic —sizzling garlic beef rice bowls with a bright yuzu-soy chili sauce! Inspired by pepper lunch, which I haven’t had in ages. Such an easy, quick meal to whip up. The sweet corn is a *must* in my opinion. It adds wonderful texture and flavor! #food #cooking #asmr #recipe #asianfood
- Garlicky mussels in a Gochujang black bean sauce! The shallots and the mussels absorb all the flavor too, and they’re just as enjoyable to eat as the mussel is 🤤 especially the large pieces of garlic that soften and almost melt in your mouth! Here’s to cooking even more seafood in the new year! #cooking #newyear #recipe #mussels #fridgecleanout
