- The final part of baking my partner THREE cakes for their birthday! All of the sweets turned out SO well and all of the effort was beyond worth it :) I’ll have to make it a tradition to bake them a cake every year! The yellow spiced cake mix from @Oh So Easy was amazing! #baking #food #cakedecorating
- Part 3 of baking two cakes for my partner’s birthday! 🎂 🎉 Cass requested the spiced yellow cake mix with cardamom syrup from @Oh So Easy!! The flavors were so much more complex than your typical cake mix. It paired SO well with the whipped cream and lemon curd! :) #baking #cake #food
- part 2 of Baking Two Cakes for my Partner’s Birthday! And right now, we’re working on the toppings! I made lemon curd, which is so simple to make with few ingredients, along with fresh whipped cream, which is even simpler!! Paired with fresh fruit, I think the combinations will be delicious :) #baking #taurus #birthday
- Part 1 of baking my Taurus partner two cakes for their birthday!! Starting with the pavlova since they take a lot longer to bake and need time to cool down in the oven overnight! I used to only be stressed out when baking, but now I’m really seeing the joy and pleasure in it :) #baking #pavlova #birthday #taurus #cake
- The way this didn’t even last 24 hours in our home before it was all gobbled up… guess that means it was a hit! Lemon curd’s the perfect thing to make alongside meringues! The citrus notes complement the airy pavlova and fruit toppings. Ingredients: -zest + lemon juice -sugar -cold butter Cass also just lemon curd with strawberries and says it tastes like strawberry lemonade!
- Baking a pavlova for my Taurus partner’s upcoming birthday!! I would be remiss to not make my sweets-loving partner a sweet treat for their birthday. You only turn 28 once after all ;) Meringues are also great because I always have the ingredients laying around! - egg whites - sugar - lemon juice or vinegar - cornstarch -optionally, vanilla extract #baking #pavlova #food
