- If you think better leg holds come from practicing leg holds or splits… you’re already behind. Here’s the truth dancers don’t like hearing: your leg hold isn’t the problem. Your body is. Muscles don’t work in isolation. Everything is connected—hips, hamstrings, glutes, hip flexors, core. Ignore the surrounding muscles and your “leg hold practice” hits a ceiling fast. That’s why we don’t guess. We follow the proven Dance Lift Solutions Method—targeting the muscles that actually unlock height, control, and longevity. Do this daily. Not “when you feel like it.” Daily. Save this. Like it. Come back to it. Want to wow the judges instead of forcing your leg? This is how. Follow for no-fluff, game-changing dance training and stretches.

- As a Dance Mom and studio owner, I have to carry so much around to these competitions and conventions. I’m hoping this hole in bag allows my hands to be more free. I also like how you can easily get into it in the upright position and you don’t have to lie it down to get and dig for everything that you need we go out of town this weekend and I’ve already packed it with traveling cubes and totes so you can easily get to what you need. This thing will hold costumes props, my purse you name it. @hulkenbag
- Dancers don’t have time to waste. That’s why I love the vibrating fitness plate — it forces every muscle to activate faster, improves balance and control on relevés and landings, strengthens turnout, and helps you recover quicker so your body is ready for the next round. Five minutes actually matters. If you want my favorite dancer-specific plate exercises (and how to use it before class for better technique), comment VIBE and I’ll send them your way. Or click the orange shopping cart.
- As a content, creator and small business owner, I have a lot more computer work than I’m used to my neck and upper back has filtered the last couple of years. These are the stretches and exercises that help release the tension caused by poor posture. This quick two minute series is great when you start to notice that poor posture sneak back in or the tension in your neck and upper back. Check out my website for more workouts and stretches. #stretch #fitness #pilates #posture @emilyhsudesigns
- Fun ways to work on leaps and turns. Stamina. Weight shifts. And many other skills! #dance #leaps #turns #combo #class
- I love teaching and progressions. I guess the students something to work toward and simple steps to get there.
- We change the combinations every week. But This stays. After rond de jambe, this stretch stays because progress needs consistency. When dancers repeat the same work, they can improve specifics faster like— turnout, feet, knees, placement. It slows everything down so they can focus on flexibility with control: balance, port de bras, strength, intention. If your goal is clean, controlled splits— check out my Splits Handbook. 🔗 Link in bio 💬 Comment SPLITS and I’ll send it straight to your inbox

- Dance has always been there for me. It hasn't always been easy but I'm so glad I didn't listen to the voices that told me to get a practical job. I'm thankful a family who always supported my biggest dreams too. Don't stop chasing yours either!! #dance #trend #stilltheone #ballet
- Every level at our studio trains under a strict, color-coded dress code. Each level has its own assigned color, and that is intentional. It keeps the room visually cohesive, it reinforces discipline, and it creates a clear pathway of progression. When a dancer advances into a higher-level color, it feels earned. Our students respect that structure, and our faculty holds that standard every day. To balance that structure with individuality, we build in “dress-down weeks” about once a month. That’s when dancers can show personality, creativity, and style—often tied to an upcoming holiday so they can lean into festive accessories or fun themed outfits. It keeps the culture healthy: consistent training standards, clear expectations, and regular moments where dancers can simply enjoy expressing who they are.
- Hahaha! I love them! I’ve always been a performer and always will be!! #trend #cocochanel #dance
