- Throughout my life people have constantly said things like “well we don’t have as much as you” “Not everyone is rich or has money like you.” “I can’t just take time off and go on vacations like you.” “I knew you would do too much for a get-together” “Why do you get dressed up just to go to the store?” “You look better with your hair up.” “You’re too beautiful to be single.” “It’s not like you need the money.” “We all can’t afford to live on our own let alone a multi bedroom place like you.” Over time I started to realize although genuine, people can’t handle when someone is who they say they are and a person that legit will give everything for someone they don’t even know. Everyone that’s met me knows I’m a people person. I have a big heart and I’m always giving without expecting anything back. Along the way many have equated all of that to be disingenuous because they have past traumas. It absolutely breaks by heart when I fall out with someone that I thought was the person I prayed for because they’ve never had a real person in their life before and don’t know how to accept the fact that they deserve good things in their life. The more people get to know me and see the things I have in life, they assume I’ve always had life easy. I don’t live in the past so I don’t talk about it much unless I’m asked. Which I then answer openly and honestly. However, I believe the only way to truly live life and be happy is to live for the future. Do all of the things that make you smile and bring you peace, love, and joy. I’m putting out this message and writing all of this to say, just because you haven’t read all of the pages in my book doesn’t mean I didn’t work and struggle to get what I have today. Many people wish to have my job, house, experiences, etc but don’t know all of the tests I’ve had to pass on gods path in order to get here and the many silent battles god continues to put we through daily. Instead of comparing and assuming, ask god and the universe to bring you closer and align you with your purpose. Work on yourself and figure out what steps you need to take next to reach the future life you want so you can be the person you aspire to be. -Catt ❤️ #beyourself #message #spiritual #dailyinspiration #foryoupage

- Chileee a time was had okay! This was all of the footage captured. That’s all I got haha. The meet up started at 5:30pm and didn’t end up 12am. So yall know we was having fun. “I thought the dress code was inflatable costumes?” 👀 Yes it was, until I realized some of the people that rsvpd didn’t have costumes. The purpose of these meet ups is for myself and other to find their tribes. That being said, I made the last minute decision to not wear our costumes an just show up looking festive. There was a st pattys day parade that day so that was the new theme. I also bought some st pattys face stickers and accessories from the store so people that didn’t have anything wouldn’t feel left out. Despite the last minute changes and a few not showing, we all had an amazing time and everyone showed up & ready to go. I was so happy I could put together a foodie crawl and everyone enjoyed it. Stay tuned for detail on the next meet up. Can you guess what it is based on this emoji?! 🏏⛳️🤭 #makingfriends #neworleans #nola #foodies #fyp
- “Oh my gosh. I’m looking thick…” 😭😂🤣 I’m trying on my cow costume for the To My Future Tribe… meet up tomorrow. Come out and meet your tribe! Theme is inflatable costumes, but it’s okay if you don’t have one. The point is to get out and meet likeminded individuals. So just come dressed festive if you don’t have a suit. It’s also a foodie crawl as well! We’ll be dancing, talking, and walking to a few places for food, snacks, and drinks. Meet up is at 5:30pm. All details are on my page. Hope to meet you all there. ☺️💕🐮 #neworleans #nola #makingfriends #makingfriendsasadults #fyp

- This Mardi Gras was a new experience for me in a good way. I got to see how other neighborhoods celebrate Mardi Gras in their own way. I’m usually in mid-city, uptown, Treme, and / or the 7th ward, but had work and missed Zulu. I heard the bywater had their own parades and other things going on and decided to check them out. I seen people in the French quarter dressed as many things including: Flower pots, king cake babies, minions, pirates, street cones, frogs and more. Plus krewes with brass bands that would randomly walk through starting a mini second line. It was both interesting and cool to see all at once. Frenchmen street is always a cool spot I like for the art bazar and music, but wasn’t expecting it to be a Caribbean/ Latin fusion celebration. As a socaholic, it was refreshing to see a big Trini flag. If there was roti and curry there it would’ve been the spot I stayed all day. Then the Marigny/ Bywater areas are places I end up going through or visiting not often. Although, I’ve been past these bars a few times, I haven’t been for a big occasion. The streets were packed, everyone was chill, good vibes, and just all wanted dance all night which everyone knows I love. Honorable mention: the portable dj booths all over every neighborhood especially the one that was parked in the neutral ground on Royal & Esplanade playing Brazilian / latin mash ups. Shout out to that Dj! You had me mini classy twerking galore. Also, the smoothie place. They have some of the best smoothies I’ve had so far in the city. Would I do this all again next year?! 👀 Yes, but I would add them in later in the day. As much fun as I had, I’m a Treme / 7th ward girlie and need my 5am skull & bones, mystic seven sisters, 8am Zulu coconuts, black masking Indians, hot plate, juice in my cup, bounce music, line dances, history, culture, my people. While I might not be from New Orleans directly, the ancestors continue to call me back to this beautiful place I call home. Happy Mardi Gras and can’t wait to see all of the new adventures / memories I will have next year. 😝👏🏼🥰☺️ #mardigras #neworleans #mardigras2026 #fyp
- People really hate when you’re single and at peace. They’ll ask, “When are you going to settle down?” As if being alone means something is wrong with you. Let’s be honest, a lot of people aren’t telling you to settle down…they’re telling you to settle period. Settle for whoever is available. Settle for whoever is willing. Settle just so you can say you’re with someone, starting a family or getting married. And I’m not doing that. Yes, I want love one day. Yes, I want marriage and a family. But it’s not going to be with just anybody. I’m not rushing into something just to meet society’s timeline or make other people comfortable. Right now my mind is focused on my goals, learning myself, and creating new positive memories. At 32, I’m finally getting to enjoy my life and I love that for me. Not everyone will understand and that’s okay. Don’t get it confused, I’m still open and available to finding my person, but I’m not actively searching either. As a spiritual being I believe in the saying, “We don’t chase, we attract.” I’d rather wait for the right person than lower my standards just to avoid being single. So, the underlying question projected within the posed question above really is, “When are you going to give up and settle like I did?” #settledown #single #dating #lovelife #fyp
- As an eldest sister, making friends isn’t always easy for us. Sometimes it’s the dynamic with other eldest daughters, personalities / energies that don’t mix, or trying to step into friend groups that have been solid for years. We grow up being independent, observant, and used to standing on our own. So, of course that carries into our friendships. It doesn’t mean we can’t connect. It just means we have a higher level of discernment. Which is why, when we do find our people we’ll know it’s real. Are you an eldest daughter that can relate?! 👀🥹💕🫶🏼 #eldestdaughter #eldestsister #nofriends #spirituality #fyp
- This message is for any and everyone that needs to hear it. If you have friends, family, and or acquaintances that need to be removed and you don’t know how to tell them, delete them from your phone and send them this. From this moment forward you’re choosing yourself and growth. Healing parts of yourself that people wouldn’t understand unless they too are at this point. Don’t feel bad for deciding to replant your roots in a garden that will keep you fed and watered. You don’t anyone an explanation. If they feel the message is for them then they were meant to hear it so they can grow too. 👏🏼☺️❤️ #spirituality #555 #tarot #spiritualtok #fyp
