As an eldest sister, making friends isn’t always easy for us. Sometimes it’s the dynamic with other eldest daughters, personalities / energies that don’t mix, or trying to step into friend groups that have been solid for years. We grow up being independent, observant, and used to standing on our own. So, of course that carries into our friendships. It doesn’t mean we can’t connect. It just means we have a higher level of discernment. Which is why, when we do find our people we’ll know it’s real.
