Throughout my life people have constantly said things like “well we don’t have as much as you” “Not everyone is rich or has money like you.” “I can’t just take time off and go on vacations like you.” “I knew you would do too much for a get-together” “Why do you get dressed up just to go to the store?” “You look better with your hair up.” “You’re too beautiful to be single.” “It’s not like you need the money.” “We all can’t afford to live on our own let alone a multi bedroom place like you.” Over time I started to realize although genuine, people can’t handle when someone is who they say they are and a person that legit will give everything for someone they don’t even know. Everyone that’s met me knows I’m a people person. I have a big heart and I’m always giving without expecting anything back. Along the way many have equated all of that to be disingenuous because they have past traumas. It absolutely breaks by heart when I fall out with someone that I thought was the person I prayed for because they’ve never had a real person in their life before and don’t know how to accept the fact that they deserve good things in their life. The more people get to know me and see the things I have in life, they assume I’ve always had life easy. I don’t live in the past so I don’t talk about it much unless I’m asked. Which I then answer openly and honestly. However, I believe the only way to truly live life and be happy is to live for the future. Do all of the things that make you smile and bring you peace, love, and joy. I’m putting out this message and writing all of this to say, just because you haven’t read all of the pages in my book doesn’t mean I didn’t work and struggle to get what I have today. Many people wish to have my job, house, experiences, etc but don’t know all of the tests I’ve had to pass on gods path in order to get here and the many silent battles god continues to put we through daily. Instead of comparing and assuming, ask god and the universe to bring you closer and align you with your purpose.
