- Sharing this space with someone like @nathanialpov who also shares the same integrity for pushing the boundaries to become a force for good was a magical moment and one I’ll never forget. Together I think we can heal the world just like this! #music #nathanialpov #losangeles #jazztok #saxophone
- They say music heals, but this night , I felt it in my bones, literally. Collaborating @nathanialpov was such a incredible out of body experience. I cried with Joy at one point. Little does he know know, I’ve been fighting a quiet battle with my bone marrow the last few years. Now that I am on the somewhat healthier side of my situation, Overcoming it has been a challenge and with a second chance , experiences like this make me feel so much gratitude and make me go harder for the people and humanity that are hurting out there. This is how we heal the world! . This wasn’t just a collab; it was a celebration of being alive. 🕊️ ✨#survivor #music #losangeles #nathanialpov #saxophone
- I spent months not knowing if I’d have a 'tomorrow.' While my bone marrow was failing, I retreated into this journey of finding inner peace from my roots of jazz. It wasn't just music; it was my medicine , it was my survival, the only way out was through. This Friday, I’m finally sharing that healing with you. If you’ve ever been through a 'terrible' season, I wrote this for us. 🕊️ Let’s celebrate the fact that we’re still here. Feb 13th we celebrate and reflect! @Leaving Records #bonemarrow #survivor #jazztok #music #albumrelease

- 3Always knew i'd be nominated, but never thought it would be from such vulnerability And from such a deeply honest place!!! . Land Back, Land Back!!!!!! As a kid, Ive always had a rebellious nature and ALWAYS HELD TRUTH TO POWER. I was bullied until I Started fighting back and speaking up for myself and others. thats when i reaized the Energy of advocacy and how important it is to stand up for whats right. This moment is full circle for me. Last year, Carlos Niño invited me to step into a supportive role in adding some of my artistic vision along side @saulwilliams . we had this Special night at @treepeople_org. It was so incredibly in touching. The intention and energy we had on stage was unforgettable. Its a tremendous honor to contribute to nights like this , as the music speaks to the present moment, The music of now and the poetry are both stunning and impactful, Demnding us to consider real change And to wake the Fuck up!!After That night, I did Not think anything would come from it. While life continued, the talks of that night from people who were there Proliferated almost every event / preformance after. there became Demand for this to be on wax. Later, a home for this baby was discovered by @intlanthem and boom! It was released to the world. Today in The face of this perpetual adversity, im thrilled to wake up to the news of the honest work that we all vulnerably shared Being recognized by a Grammy nomination ! these are very tough and ground breaking conversations that must be had and Although I feel very conflicted about the Grammys and the questionable past they’ve had, I am deeply thankful and honored to be part of a movement that advocates for transformation in humanity. bringing truth to power all while this chaoas keeps infiltrating us! #music #fyp #grammy #saxophone🎷 #flutetok

- 4When ever I step on stage with Saul , I’m am always reminded and re-grounded with my purpose. I’m incredibly grateful to be on this journey with the amazing Carlos Nino and Saul Williams! This show was so special that it had to be captured as a record, and I’m honored to have contributed to this powerful collaboration aimed at shaping a better future through truth to power. The aspect that excites me the most is the collaborative experience we shared, which truly resonates throughout the record. I can’t wait for you all to hear it and feel that energy! - Doctor Cornel West’s words about John Coltrane enveloped me in a wave of emotion, moving me to tears. I felt it was my duty to share this!!! the profound depth of faith Coltrane had in humanity. Coltrane was so much more than a master of the saxophone, he was a spiritual leader whose music was a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit. prayers and elightenent and moments of activation were sent out into the universe when he played. carrying the weight of our collective struggles and the hope for a brighter tomorrow. Every note, resonated with the cries for justice and the yearning for love, forging connections that transcended barriers and divisions. His legacy as an activist and a beacon of light in the community Inspired me to make music with a purpose, and ignite change and to always remain a force for good. His unwavering belief in the goodness of people, even in the face of adversity, stirred something deep within me, urging me to embrace that same faith and strive for a world where compassion reigns supreme. It’s not fair to just call him a saxophonist. He is a Prophet. #storytellingthroughart #jazztok #jazz #losangeles #elevate . #greenscreenvideo
