AaronShawMusicDoctor Cornel West’s words about John Coltrane enveloped me in a wave of emotion, moving me to tears. I felt it was my duty to share this!!! the profound depth of faith Coltrane had in humanity. Coltrane was so much more than a master of the saxophone, he was a spiritual leader whose music was a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit. prayers and elightenent and moments of activation were sent out into the universe when he played. carrying the weight of our collective struggles and the hope for a brighter tomorrow. Every note, resonated with the cries for justice and the yearning for love, forging connections that transcended barriers and divisions. His legacy as an activist and a beacon of light in the community Inspired me to make music with a purpose, and ignite change and to always remain a force for good. His unwavering belief in the goodness of people, even in the face of adversity, stirred something deep within me, urging me to embrace that same faith and strive for a world where compassion reigns supreme. It’s not fair to just call him a saxophonist. He is a Prophet. #storytellingthroughart #jazztok #jazz #losangeles #elevate . #greenscreenvideo
