- I would be remiss if we didn’t celebrate 22 years of “let’s work it out”.. created with my partner in crime Mushtaq and blessed by the voice of Asha Bhosle. Let’s work it out was my fourth song to chart in the UK national chart in less than a calendar year in 2004. Btw I have quite the story about when I first met Asha Ji. I’ll save it for the book… Thank you all for 22 years of love and support on this song.. though I must admit I did have a breakdown when I found out it was being released as the second single off of Storyteller over Bad Bad Bad. One day I will recover from this. What a time. Thank you to everyone involved in the making of Let’s work it out. Ft Jahaziel 🙏🏾

- Teri Baaton….. We never even made a video to this song back in 2004…. Somehow it’s just lived in peoples hearts for 20 years… and obviously came to the forefront last year when it became a mega hit again in it’s Bollywood form, mom and I still pinch ourselves that a movie was named after our song.. to have a record go number 1, 20 years apart is a special accomplishment.. and I’m endlessly thankful to you all for it. 🙏🏾… but most of all, as you know it is a credit to my moms evergreen and classic lyrics.. she is undoubtedly the most talented person I’ve ever known, and quite frankly it’s not even particularly close… and of course it rocks dancefloors for decades because of the inimitable Sly & Robbie.. What a journey… we shot this reel at @dopo.yyc .. if you love the most elite of cuisine, this is the place. Have the ricotta. Trust. Thank you all for holding this song in your hearts for over two decades… who knows where it will take us next. 🙏🏾
- COMPETITION ALERT!!! It’s -17 in Calgary today, but it’s tropical somewhere.. Thumke Ka is the song of mine that I still most believe should be a hit record. So…. If you like it. Fine and use the official audio sound , film your reel and post it… I promise to pick the best one in the coming months and fly out to shoot a reel with the winner sometime next year.. that could be you or your entire crew. … heck. I may even dance in it (I won’t ).. make sure to tag me and #thumkeka.. I don’t think I’ve ever run a competition before and I’m not even sure this is how you do it. Guess I’m about to find out. 🌴
- Sorry, I’ve been missing in action for a bit.. well …I’m preparing for a new release at the start of the new year.. and I thought to myself wouldn’t it be fun to celebrate some of the old stuff... I think you know I couldn’t start anywhere else but here.. Angel Eyes….2026 is going to be a year filled with a lot of new music.. but we wrap up 2025 with the old stuff. Thank you all for 20 years of love and support.. I promise the new music will hit you in the chest.. by the way, the first person to comment that this was their favourite song when they were five years old gets named and shamed .. stop that shit immediately .. love y’all .. 🙏🏾
- Can’t Get Enough was my debut solo single.. to this date I remain horrified by my dancing in the video, and have a bone to pick with whoever invented YouTube, that turned something that should have died off of MTV in a few months into something that lives in infamy… forever. I wrote this song on my own in my student accommodations in Liverpool, and then did a demo session with my wonderful friend Hakon Lundby to add my idea for the sample from the great OP Nayyar song my mom and dad would play on cassette tape in the car since as early as I can remember anything in life.. Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar from the great film Aar Paar.. originally in my demo I had ended it with a reverse cymbal crescendoing into a line from the song Sun Sun Sun Sun Zalima.. but I spared the legal department at my record label having to clear two samples in one record.. we had a pretty special demo.. but that demo turned into a record when I met Mushtaq who sprinkled the ingredients on this song that would spark a decades lasting creative relationship, that is as strong as ever today and has produced a soundtrack of songs for multiple generations, with many more to come. I’m so proud of this song, but beyond the prideI have in the success that it’s lived for over 20 years in people’s hearts, is the joy that through the collaborations on it with Mushtaq and the legendary Iceberg Slimm.. I’ve been able to celebrate its place in history with friends who have become closer than family. The greatest gift of all.. 🙏🏾..
