RAGHAVTeri Baaton….. We never even made a video to this song back in 2004…. Somehow it’s just lived in peoples hearts for 20 years… and obviously came to the forefront last year when it became a mega hit again in it’s Bollywood form, mom and I still pinch ourselves that a movie was named after our song.. to have a record go number 1, 20 years apart is a special accomplishment.. and I’m endlessly thankful to you all for it. 🙏🏾… but most of all, as you know it is a credit to my moms evergreen and classic lyrics.. she is undoubtedly the most talented person I’ve ever known, and quite frankly it’s not even particularly close… and of course it rocks dancefloors for decades because of the inimitable Sly & Robbie.. What a journey… we shot this reel at @dopo.yyc .. if you love the most elite of cuisine, this is the place. Have the ricotta. Trust. Thank you all for holding this song in your hearts for over two decades… who knows where it will take us next. 🙏🏾
