- #DovePartner The first hair mask I recommend when people ask me what drugstore hair mask to use for dry, damaged hair is the @Dove Beauty & Personal Care Intensive Repair 10-in-1 Serum Mask! I have been obsessed with how soft, smooth, strengthened & protected it makes my hair for years now! If you haven't tried it yet... you're in for a real treat 😍
- Finding the right shampoo can make ALL the difference in your wash day routine results. There are definitely other causes that can contribute to these issues, but shampoo is a very common culprit. It can be confusing to figure out what to use because the marketing on shampoo doesn’t always match its performance. For example, I’ve tried MANY shampoos that claim to be “clarifying” or “detoxing” that just don’t clean well at all. So if you’re new here and need help finding the best fit for you, check out my product comparison guides for shampoo on my page! #shampoo #washday #washdayroutine #haircareroutine
- @Abby Crawford🪷 thank you for tagging me!! Whenever I hear something like “chunks of my hair are falling out” I want to make sure we understand what’s going on a bit better first before building a routine! There’s a big difference between shedding & breakage, and this is how to figure it out so you know what to do next. Also keep in mind that it’s totally possible for both things to be happening at once! But when you suddenly notice a big change, I find that one tends to be a bigger culprit than the other. #hairloss #hairgrowth #shedding #hairjourney
- Sometimes I NEED to shampoo my ends. Here’s how I know it’s time for a full hair reset & how I do it! #shampoo #washday #washdayroutine #hairhacks
- Patrick Ta Major Glow vs ELF Body Glow! Patrick Ta’s Major Glow Balm + High Shine Skin Perfecting Creme retail for $108 together… they are beautiful and smell amazing but they’re obviously very pricey… so I was VERY excited when I saw that ELF dropped a Halo Glow ?Goddess Body Balm & Soft Beam Body Cream that looked veryyy similar for $26 instead. As I’m sure you can tell from the video, the creams are pretty different! Patrick Ta has a soft, whipped texture that has a glossy finish without glitter. ELF is thinner and feels a little bit more wet and slippery to the touch at first. ELF adds a sheeny finish with glitter. So they’re not exact dupes, but blended out on my arms the glow they give looks super similar! Patrick Ta does feel more luxe, but for $58 it better 😅 The balm on the other hand… closest thing to a true dupe I’ve tried in awhile. The textures are super similar- both have that rich balmy feel, and both give a glassy sheen to the skin that looks basically identical. So even though the ingredients aren’t exactly the same, the result pretty much is for me! What do you think? #elf #patrickta #dupes #dupe #beautyreviews
- What should I build haircare routines for next?! I wanted to keep it as simple as possible with 4 product lineups, but let me know if you want to see more products or other options for the concerns I showed here, because I have so many more! #hairroutine #haircareroutine #healthyhair #haircareproducts
- These are some of the most common worries I’ve seen in my comments about hair care routines & products, but they’re all things you truly don’t need to worry about! I’ve already made videos about building routines based on porosity & protein overload with cosmetic chemists- so if you want more information on those topics (because I know there’s a lot of confusion surrounding them), they’re already on my page! #haircare #healthyhair #hairjourney #hairgrowth
- @madisonmorse got you girl 💗 here are the two things that I wish I knew about when dealing with the worst water ever in college! (And for years in apartments after that too 😵💫). Shower filters are also great if you can use them, but I know that’s not really an option in dorm rooms. So I wanted to focus on products you can use regardless of where you live 😊 hope this helps!! 💗 #hardwater #haircare #healthyhair #haircaretips
- My favorite hack when I end up with heavy, greasy buildup on my lengths after testing a new product on wash day! This can also happen from using products that are too heavy for your hair, not using a shampoo that cleans well enough, not fully rinsing out conditioning products, using too much pre-shampoo oil, etc. I obviously don’t apply dry shampoo to my lengths on a regular basis, but if you need a quick fix to hold you over, here’s proof that it works! Since some people didn’t believe me the first time 😅 #dryshampoo #hairhack #hairhacks #greasyhair
- Could not stop laughing 😭 #boyfrienddoesmyvoiceover #hairroutine #dysonairwrap #hairstyling
- If oils always feel too heavy for your hair but you still feel like you need some extra smoothing post wash… try this instead! An oil mist is another great thing to try if you’ve only ever tried thicker oils like I’m showing here. But even still I know some of you just don’t like how oil makes your hair feel so if that’s the case, this one’s for you! #hairhack #hairhacks #hairoil #hairtips
- #LOrealParisPartner You guys know that @loréal paris usa Iron Sleek Coat is my absolute favorite humidity-proofing spray from the drugstore. It just never fails- it always makes my hair super sleek, smooth & shiny, even in hot humid weather! I've been using it all summer, so the fact that it's affordable just makes it 100x better! #LOrealParisHaircare
- I had an event this week that I wanted my hair to have soft, weightless, touchable volume for, but I was also traveling so I had to keep my products to a minimum! If you have fine/thin hair that is weighed down easily or you just hate the feeling of volumizing products like mousses, the K18 astro lift volume spray is perfect for a subtle volume boost. But if you want max volume, I’d swap that out for a mousse like the Tresemme Total Volume Mousse- I’ve also used that with the Nexxus MVP styling cream and they work SO well together. But I love how this turned out! LMK if you want more styling videos like this & if so, which styling products you want me to test! Products Shown: 1. OGX Bond Protein Repair Spray 2. K18 Astrolift Volume Spray 3. Nexxus MVP Styling Cream 4. Shark Flex Style Blow Dryer 5. Revlon Easy Curl 1" Curling Iron #hairstyles #hairstyling #haircareroutine #hairroutine
- @Agnes Gyllensvärd for tagging me in this beautiful! Here’s what it really means when your hair squeaks and why I think it’s one of the most underrated things to look for if you have an oily, greasy scalp! #hairtips #greasyhair #oilyhair #shampoo
- Welcome back to my new haircare launch chopping block series! Today we’re diving into the Kristen Ess High Gloss Shampoo, Conditioner & Instant Rinse! Let me know what I should review next for part 3! #hairgloss #shampoo #conditioner #shinyhair #beautyreview
- Every now and then I try a new product that is way too heavy for my hair & I end up with stringy, greasy results post wash. This is the WORST because you have to wait until you shampoo again to remove it all (a deep cleaning shampoo on your lengths is all you need!), but some dry shampoo is the secret to holding you over until then! I obviously don’t regularly spray dry shampoo on my ends, but it’s so helpful in these situations when you need a quick fix that doesn’t require getting back in the shower. #hairhack #hairhacks #dryshampoo #greasyhair

- #LorealParisPartner You guys know how picky I am about fragrances in my haircare products... so when I saw that @loréal paris usa was launching Ever Pure Hair Fragrances I was SO excited. Because L'Oreal makes some of my favorite hair fragrances of all time! They all smell so nice but my absolute favorite of the 3 is Citrus Spritz 😍 You have to let me know your favorite when you try them! #LorealParisHaircare
- I’ve seen some comments about how confusing The Abbey Yung Method is over the past year or so, and I hear you! If you’re new to my page and just looking at everything for the first time… it’s a LOT. So I wanted to lay out how to think about this routine in the simplest way possible… that way, you can use this as a starting point to build from if needed! For a written version of this with some example routines, check out the second pinned post on my page! And LMK any other questions you have that you want me to make dedicated videos on like this next 😊 #haircareroutine #hairjourney #haircaretips #haircareproducts
