2I realized something on my walk today… I’m always rushing. 😅 Even on a WALK—a thing that is literally supposed to be relaxing. I caught myself getting frustrated because my kids were walking too slowly, my dog was stopping to pee on what felt like every blade of grass, and I was speed-walking like I had somewhere incredibly important to be. But then I stopped. I took a breath. I slowed my pace. And I actually looked around. The trees. The sky. The little moments happening around me. My kids being kids. My dog taking his sweet time. 😂 And I realized… I was so focused on getting to the end of the walk that I was missing the walk itself. Oof. Anyone else? 🙋‍♀️ As moms, we’re constantly rushing to the next thing—school pickup, dinner, laundry, bedtime, tomorrow’s to-do list. Sometimes we forget that the “in-between” moments count too. Maybe you need this reminder today: Slow down. You don’t always have to rush to the next thing. You don’t have to hurry through every moment just because there’s somewhere else you think you need to be. Take the walk a little slower. Look around. Take a breath. Be where your feet are. Because sometimes the beauty we’re looking for is right in front of us… we’re just moving too fast to notice it. 🤍 #motherhood #womanhood #toddlermom #walk #life
