- #ad Four problem skin mistakes I see all the time, and what I’d use from @qandaskin instead 👇 1. Breakouts or texture? Avoid harsh cleansers. The Salicylic Acid Cleanser helps decongest pores without stripping your skin. 2. Oily skin? Don’t skip moisturiser. The Niacinamide Oil-Free Moisturiser helps balance excess oil. 3. Redness or marks after a breakout? Step away from the strong actives. The Azelaic Acid Balancing Serum helps calm the look of redness and fade the appearance of marks. 4. Body breakouts or strawberry skin? Stop scrubbing. The Salicylic Acid Body Wash gently exfoliates for smoother, clearer-looking skin. All four picked up at @Boots . Which mistake are you guilty of? Tell me below! #QandA #QandASkincare #Boots #ProblemSkin BreakoutProneSkin SkincareTips SkinSpecialist

- I found the £300 alternative to the Moxi BBL laser and nobody is talking about it This is the Illuma Bright facial. IPL and a resurfacer, done in the same treatment. Same idea as Moxi BBL: the IPL goes after pigment and redness, then the resurfacer works on texture and tone. Why I booked it: I have quite a lot of sun damage and I wanted to see if you really need to spend the big money to treat it. Honest bits: Pain: I'm not great with IPL. Most people cope much better than me, and it's over quickly. Downtime: yes, there is some. That's the trade off with the resurfacer. Price: £300. I'm filming my full healing so you can see exactly what to expect before you book anything. Follow so you don't miss the results. As always, who does your treatment and what settings they use matter as much as the machine. Ask the questions before you book. meg x #ipl #laserfacial #sundamage
- #AD Every autumn I watch people stop exfoliating the second their skin gets dry, and it's the worst thing you can do. Here's the two step routine I'd recommend instead. @Curél Japanese Skincare Curél Intensive Moisture Care Duo, available at Boots. Meg xx #curel #sensitiveskin #skincaretips #winterskincare
- AD as an esthetician, I'm always telling clients that their neck, chest and hands age first. Then I do absolutely nothing about my own. The body takes a bit longer, so I'm carrying on and I'll update you at 12 weeks. One system, every zone. - #ad my skin changes every year as soon as the weather does, so I'm building my barrier up now instead of trying to rescue it in November. The new Ceramidin Serum from @Dr. Jart+ UK is made with Aqua Ceramides and Zinc Hyaluronic Acid, and it repairs skin barrier in 2 hours and locks moisture in. Sinks in, no stickiness, instant glow. #kbeauty #koreanskincare #skinbarrier #ceramide
- Stop making your own toner pads. It’s all over my fyp and it makes no sense. Your toner was safety tested in its own bottle with its own lid. An open jar of damp cotton wool with your fingers in it every night is not that. That’s where bacteria grows. You can buy sealed, properly preserved exfoliating toner pads in @bootsuk for around eight pounds. Or just put your toner on a cotton pad like you already do. Save this before your next Boots trip. meg x #skincarehacks #exfoliatingtoner #tonerpads
- I cannot believe what I’m seeing online atm!!! 15% is Finacea. 20% is Skinoren. Both prescription only in the UK, because they are licensed to treat actual medical conditions. Selling one without a prescription can get you two years. Do not buy them, pls! So if it turned up with no consultation and no prescriber, nobody has checked what is actually in that tube, what dose it is, or whether it is even right for your skin. Alsooooo probably not azelaic in the tube! Want it properly? Your GP, or a UK online prescribing service with a real prescriber behind it. Not ready for that? 10% on the shelf is genuinely good and about a tenner. Eye patches are @cosmeticconsultofficial they are unbelievable. @thecosmeticconsult you are a genius meg x #azelaicacid #skincaretips #skinspecialist
