Megan MaceyI found the £300 alternative to the Moxi BBL laser and nobody is talking about it This is the Illuma Bright facial. IPL and a resurfacer, done in the same treatment. Same idea as Moxi BBL: the IPL goes after pigment and redness, then the resurfacer works on texture and tone. Why I booked it: I have quite a lot of sun damage and I wanted to see if you really need to spend the big money to treat it. Honest bits: Pain: I'm not great with IPL. Most people cope much better than me, and it's over quickly. Downtime: yes, there is some. That's the trade off with the resurfacer. Price: £300.
