- The Future of Fashion is Regenerative | Meet permaculture farmer and educator Connor Jones. We share Connor’s vision for not only the future of fashion, but our planet as a whole that is rooted in regenerative farming practices. Regenerative farming is an ancient indigenous practice proven for centuries to be some of the most holistically effective and beneficial ways to cultivate crops. It enhances soil health, helps with water retention, improves crop productivity, and reduces erosion and chemical inputs. Plus, it’s better for the health of farmers and customers.
- The All Day Short: Reintroducing the short that started it all with our Co-founder & Creative Director, Mike, and Head of Product, Steve.
- Farm to Fashion | When we kicked off this project to build a new version or the best version of the Sunwashed Tee, we did a ton of research and we found that the best cotton grown regeneratively in the world was down in Peru. We flew to Lima, and it was about a 16-hour journey out to the farms. And when we got there, we just saw an amazing culture of indigenous farmers who had been in on this land for over 1,500 years. It's called the Cotton Nation Project.

- Pt 3: The Shirt | Made better. Our Sunwashed Tee is now made from 100% regenerative organic cotton.
- Pt 2: The Plant | Organic matter really matters.
- Pt 1: The Soil | It all starts with DIRT Faherty’s new regenerative cotton is grown in a way that builds fertility and soil health–giving back to the earth and restoring ecosystem balance. BUILDING MORE SOIL THAN YOU START WITH is our goal for all fashion. Because fashion starts on the farm, in SOIL! Faherty is upgrading their biggest t-shirt line to be from organic to regenerative cotton. Let’s all stand behind fashion that heals, restores and make more of Mother Earth’s soils.
- Regenerative farming isn’t a sustainability fad. It’s an ancient Indigenous practice proven for millennia to be one of the most holistically effective and beneficial ways to cultivate crops. It enhances soil health, helps with water retention, improves crop productivity, and reduces erosion and chemical inputs. It’s even better for farmers, consumers, and livestock. As a Certified B Corporation™, we believe there’s a better path to a better world—one of action and purpose, inspiration and community. This movement is powered by an emerging generation of people using business as a force for good. “At Faherty we are on a mission to make clothes that will be in your closet forever. Things you’ll go and grab on an everyday basis. You know, making clothes that matter.” — Mike Faherty, Co-founder & Creative Director #BCorpMonth
- MADE BETTER | As a fashion company, we realize our industry is built on a fundamentally extractive model. That’s why regenerative materials matter to us. We know we can be part of the change that makes this industry more sustainable. That starts with going to the source. We’ve partnered with model, climate activist, and DIRT founder Arizona Muse to reintroduce our Sunwashed Tee, now crafted from 100% Regenerative Organic Cotton. This soft, sustainable innovation represents our commitment to creating high-quality products from responsible, certified fibers.
- While we were out in Rockaway, Queens, we visited our dear friend Paul Schmidt at his surfboard shaping studio in Marina 59. Paul’s been shaping surfboards for over a decade and launched his studio in 2014. His workshop is tucked away inside a repurposed shipping container. Initially a personal project, he decided to commit himself to it full-time when friends kept requesting his boards. More than 10 years in, Paul is keeping the tradition of hand-shaping boards alive.
- Vintage quality meets Faherty comfort in these soft, timeless styles.
- What's in Paul's pockets? Only the essentials.
- 📍 Rockaway Beach, NY | Easy-going vibes, rugged appeal.
- Spring starts today! New collection online now.
- Inspired By Americana & Cold Weather Surf | These rugged New Arrivals came to life in the Rockaways, but they belong wherever the day takes you.
- 🌊 Indigo Sunrise 🌅 There’s no better way to honor our favorite shade of blue. This limited-edition collection combines handmade block prints with soft, lightweight fabrics we’ve perfected for spring. A 2,000-year-old craft, block printing dips hand-carved wood blocks into garment dye. The meticulously chiseled blocks are then stamped or pressed onto fabric to create stunning, complex designs.
