- if it looks good too early, I get suspicious 🫠 materials: 📔 RENDR sketchbook – no bleed through ✏️ ColErase Prismacolor & Polychromos pencils 🤍 Ohuhu alcohol markers 💕 Karin pigment realbrush markers @karinmarkers 🖌️ my Doodle Traffic x @craftamo brushes (amazing for tiny details!) 🎨 and a touch of golden gansai paint You can read about all of them in my Free E-book about Art Supplies — available on my Gumroad 📖✨ • #sketchbook #drawingprocess #sketching #drawing #alcoholmarkers
- in this house we make mistakes, panic, cover them up and keep going 💅 (also please tell me I’m not the only one who forgets to test their tools before mixing with other medias 🙃) Anyway… not all fineliners are waterproof and won’t smudge your drawing. Learned that the hard way 😩 I used a random no-name pen (rip 💀) If you want to avoid the smudge drama, here are some that actually hold up under alcohol markers: 🖊️ Ohuhu Colored Fine Line Pens (the ones I eventually used here) 🖋️ Liquitex Acrylic Ink and in case you’re like me and f•up anyway – there are always ✨ sticky notes ✨ 😌 • #drawingprocess #sketchbook #markersart #sketching #dailydrawing #portraitart #sketchbookart

- Somewhere between vintage soda bottles, favorite video games and pastel thoughts — that’s where my mind lives lately🥤🗞️📺🧡✨👾 This piece is created with my favorite @karinmarkers products 🥰: 🖌️Pigment Realbrush Karin Markers 🌟 Karin Deco-Gel 1.0 – “Milky Way” set 📖 the sketchbook I use is Talens Art Creation and no, the ink from Karin markers doesn’t bleed through the other side of the page – they’re water based 💧😌🌸 • #sketchbook #sketching #90snostalgia #portrait #markersart #karinmarkers #nukacola #follout #fanart #50saesthetic #nostalgic

- Started with high hopes, hit the artistic wall, questioned everything… but kept going 🐸 Ended up with a forest nymph — and a quiet reminder why making things by hand will always matter 🌿✨ • #traditional_art #handdrawnart #sketchbooking #dailydraw #portraitsketching #mixedmediapainting

- Pencil sketch colored with Pigment Realbrush @karinmarkers 💛 #sketchbook #sketchbookart #drawingprocess #portraitsketching #acrylicmarkers #portraitdrawing #markersart #drawing
- I had to trust the process big time 😭 #sketchbook #sketchbookspread #drawingprocess #portraitsketching #alcoholmarkers #coloredpencilportrait #drawing
- Finished this Rainbow Girls spread — each portrait has a different background color as a base. 🌈 It really helped me with blending and to break the fear of going dark with values 😌 Plus, the colors set the mood for each one! 🌸 #sketchbookspread #sketchbook #drawingprocess #portraitsketching #alcoholmarkers #coloredpencilportrait #drawing #sketchbook

- Yesterday I woke up with the urge to paint some mermaids — but since I’d been using an old receipt as a bookmark for like a month, I figured… why not combine both needs? 🧜🏼♀️✨📖 Thanks to @xtoolofficial and the amazing X-Tool F1, I brought the idea to life the same morning, right after coffee and book time — just a few minutes of laser engraving and cutting! ✨🔍 Now I’m totally obsessed with my new bookmark and already dreaming of more. 😩 Any ideas for the next characters? I’m thinking a fairy… maybe a dragon? 🐉 #lasercutart #bookmark #diybookmark #characterdesign #mermay #mermay2025 #xttool #xttoolf1
- in the last few days (nights actually) I’ve been deep in alcohol marker experiments — wet-on-wet, layering, speeding through it, slowing waaay down, mixing them with pencils, with other markers… just trying whatever might work for me 👩🔬 still not sure what my way with these is — but I’m starting to see hints of it and that’s kinda exciting ✨ #sketchbook #sketchbookart #portraitdrawing #drawingprocess #dailysketching sketchbook • drawing • portrait art • daily sketching
- For the first time, I tried coloring my graphite sketches with @karinmarkers and to my surprise, it worked very well! Before I thought the graphite would smudge, but everything stayed clean ✏️✨🖌️ 🔍 Here’s what I did: ✿ I applied the first layer of Pigment RealBrush marker over the graphite, which acted like a sealant (I used a very light color which was less opaque so I could still see the sketch underneath) ✿ Once it dried, I could layer more colors on top without any smudging (pigment realbrush markers can be diluted with water, but if you let them dry, they become permanent) ✿ Finally, I added details with colored pencils for the finishing touch What do you think? 😊💭 #karinmarkers #mixedmedia #sketchbook #portraitdrawings #sketching #markerart
