- 📍@MiniLuxe Brookline MY NAIL GIRL JAMILA HAS DONE IT YET AGAIN…. A whole Japanese-food inspired nail set. She hand sculpted EACH PIECE. Potentially the most iconic set of nails I’ve ever had?! We sat together for hours and just chatted about anything and everything. It’s also been two-ish weeks since I’ve gotten this set and they’re still *super* on. Always the best retention with my nail girls <3 hehehe please go support an immigrant Viet-owned nail shop in Brookline if you’re in the area!! #nailart #food #brookline #gelx #japanese
- The girls at @MiniLuxe are angels and I’m so grateful to be able to show my appreciation through food!! Cass and I haven’t eaten this dish in a while since we got sick of eating it once a week for years, haha. It was a delicious throw back meal for us (: We relived our Berkeley days. #food #cooking
- Curry udon! Some slices of meat of any kind would be delicious in this, but this was a clean out the fridge meal before we leave for Asia. Still delicious and the eggs add so much creaminess (: #udon #curry #cooking #food
- My first time cooking duck breast, and it was a huge success!! Many more duck dishes in my future… Duck breast was bought from @Weee Asian Supermarket Pan from @Made In Cookware #duck #meat #food #cooking
- Welcome to the fifth installment of the Matcha Diaries! 🍵 Today’s drink is a Sparkling Peach Matcha Soda! 🍑 The brown sugar peach syrup was HEAVENLY… I may have to make a huge batch of syrup to keep around. Can’t wait to share the other matcha creations with y’all! If you have any combinations you’d like to see, please let me know! #matcha #peach
- Many Americanos and cappuccinos currently loading up… Machine gifted from @Casabrews!! Thank you!! #coffee #espresso
- Welcome to the next installment of the Matcha Diaries! 🍵 Today’s drink is a “coconut cloud” which is essentially a matcha foam on top of @Harmless Harvest water. The coconut water is naturally pink so it’s as pretty as it is refreshing! If I could have endless pink coconut water, I would drink this every single day… 😩 Can’t wait to share the other matcha creations with y’all! If you have any combinations you’d like to see, please let me know! 💕 Matcha bowl and whisk from @davidstea #matcha #coconut #matchacloud #drink
- Cookbook Date Nights!! Thanks for making this delicious grilled salmon and peach curry dish with us! Gregory Gourdet can do no wrong (food wise) in my humble opinion. Highly recommend his cookbook — I’m a huge fan and have learned so much from it (: #food #salmon #cookbook #cooking #gregorygourdet
- Welcome to the fourth installment of the Matcha Diaries! 🍵 Today’s drink is a Blueberry Sesame Matcha Latte… Spoiler alert: it was abject failure… Can’t wait to share the other matcha creations with y’all! If you have any combinations you’d like to see, please let me know! Hopefully the next combination will be more successful than this one 😵💫 #matcha #latte #blueberry
- 📍Yume Ga Arukara, Cambridge Delicious! Great bang for your buck, specifically in comparison to the prices of typical udon restaurants in the U.S. The sauce was bright and fresh, but ultimately mellow and craveable! I loved the texture of the tempura bits and baby shrimp. The meat was delightfully sweet, and I may get extra meat next time…. #food #udon #boston
- There’s also a bit of soy sauce in the marinade! Forgot to include that in the video… measure with your heart hehe I bought my quail from @Weee Asian Supermarket !! #food #cooking #quail #airfryer
- (о´∀`о) nothing like cold noodles during this heat wave!! Please eat a bowl of cold noodles this summer <3 #soba #noodles #matcha #food #cooking
- Grateful for food and friends, and especially when I get to eat good food WITH my friends (: Thanks for the blue corn tortillas and scallop ceviche Jack & Jesse! It was the perfect start to our @Bravo Top Chef finale viewing. #cooking #food #topchef
- Welcome to the second installment of the Matcha Diaries! 🍵 Today’s drink is a corn milk matcha latte. 🌽🥛 Can’t wait to share the other matcha creations with y’all! If you have any combinations you’d like to see, please let me know! 💕 Matcha bowl and whisk from @davidstea #matcha #avocado #drink #latte
- Right around 4PM these days, I find myself asking the question: am I sleepy or just dehydrated…? Luckily, I have @Liquid I.V. around to help me beat the 4PM slump with yummy sugar free hydration! 💧 #LiquidIVPartner #IVOCLOCK
- A recipe that requires ZERO cooking!! I have to admit I ate all of these within two days…. Maybe a day and a half. Canned quail eggs are an amazing substitute for chicken eggs!! With just a handful of ingredients, it’s so easy to make these soy marinated quail eggs 🥚 Just combine garlic, soy sauce, sweetener (almost anything works, from honey to just plain old sugar), and water. Optional are chilies or other condiments you may want (chili crisp is something I love to add)! #recipe #food #eggs
- Welcome to the first installment of the Matcha Diaries! 🍵 Today’s matcha latte is an avocado basil matcha latte sweetened with condensed milk. 🥑🌿🥛 Can’t wait to share the other matcha creations with y’all! If you have any combinations you’d like to see, please let me know! 💕 Matcha bowl and whisk from @davidstea #matcha #avocado #drink #latte
- A creamy mentaiko crab udon! Soooo seafoody and packed with umami. This was a big hit, 10/10!! We just eyeballed everything, and adjusted to taste (: Cooking with friends is always a joy and delight! #cooking #food #udon #mentaiko
- Chaotic cooking with Cy 👩🍳 Initially tried to make a Korean squid dish but what I made deviates so far from the origin lol #food #mussels #traderjoes #cooking
- 📍@MiniLuxe Brookline Immediately after our New York trip, I booked a nail appointment because these grippers were looking ROUGH!! I can’t stop looking at my nails, they’re SO stunning 😭 Always SO happy to support an immigrant-owned business, especially in this climate. Come support a Viet-owned salon if you’re in the Boston area!! Cass said this was one of the best pedicures they’ve ever had btw hehe 🦶 #nailart #brookline #gelx #rainbow #pride
- There’s too much good food to eat all over NYC 😭 I wish my stomach was neverending!! Brunch from Clinton St. Baking Co! Matcha cloud from Amore Caffe AYCE & drink Omakase from Toka Sushi Best anniversary meals (‘: #food #ayce #nyc #anniversary
