The RockMidnight rooftop @Teremana Tequila toast to the city, I’ll always call my home away from home. Walking the NYC streets at 1am with my dad, the SoulMan 😎 💪🏾 will always be a cool core memory for me when I was a kid. Sounds crazy but it’s how we bonded. All my personal memories when I wrestled in the Mecca - @The Garden. Crowds were electric, rocked with me as a babyface and boo’d the hell outta me as a heel, but eventually, anointed me the People’s Champ. It’s a wild confession here, and a “right of professional wrestling passage” - but what an honor it was to spill my sweat and blood all over the Madison Square Garden. IYKYK And now, this week we shoot in the NYC streets, and at Coney Island, filming Benny Safdie’s “Lizard Music”. I’ve never shot a film in NYC that I’ve starred in. A first for me and a real honor. Benny is truly New York’s son and it’s been so cool seeing him back home and in his hood, as we shoot our love letter to NYC. Here’s to you New York, thank you for the memories, and cheers to making many more! 🥃 Now I need a slice 🍕
