Sasha Hamdani MDWhen I was diagnosed with ADHD, we had far less language around neurodivergence. But now, I see parents facing the opposite problem: there is so much information that it becomes hard to know what to trust. Parents are getting advice from teachers, relatives, friends, social media, AI, and sometimes even clinicians who do not fully understand neurodivergence. And you know what? That's a lot. It's a lot to go through and it's hard to know what's right. That is why trusted information matters. Understood.org is a nonprofit resource for parents of neurodivergent kids, with expert-backed, research-informed guidance and nothing to sell. I generally provide this as a resource for my patients just because it is a great place to start. So if you're looking for expert-backed parenting guidance, visit the link in my bio! #UnderstoodPartner #LessNoiseMoreUnderstood
