@sarabareilles
thesarabareillesI have missed you. New album, new song, new tour! All info at sarabmusic.com. My new record, Good Grief, a love letter to the hardest chapter of my life, will be out August 28th. I'm so grateful to every loving person who held the weight of this time with me, and for me, when I couldn't hold it myself. And to all of you... thank you for waiting. I am grateful for YOU. I am more of who I am meant to be because of this very tender, very soulful, very good grief. "Home" is out today. It was inspired by a vulnerable and honest conversation about grief between @Anderson Cooper and Stephen Colbert that really resonated with me. Hearing their stories of loss, I started feeling more courageous to tell mine. "Tell me your story, I'll tell you mine." For me, this encapsulates the message of this record - sharing the thing that's the most true, and through that building threads of connection between you and the people around you. It's why we're all here. Which is why after seven years I am so excited to share space with you again, and to sing these stories to, and hopefully with you. The Good Grief Tour will go on sale at 10am local time on Wednesday, June 10th, but you can sign up on my website to get first access to pre-sale tickets on Monday June 8th at 12pm local time. Pre-orders for Good Grief are available now, and I will be donating the proceeds from all album sales through my website, and all VIP upgrade packages for The Good Grief Tour, to The National Alliance On Mental Illness (NAMI) in support of their live-saving mental health support, education, and advocacy. In addition, through my partnership with Plus1, $1 of every ticket purchased to The Good Grief tour will go directly to The Jed Foundation to support their work protecting emotional health and preventing suicide among teens and young adults. With all the love and grief I've got- Sara XO #goodgrief
