Royal Ballet and OperaFor a moment, midnight feels a world away 🪄 In Act II of Frederick Ashton’s Cinderella, Cinderella and the Prince find themselves alone together at the royal ball, caught in the wonder of a love only just beginning. Set to one of Prokofiev’s most beautiful melodies, the pas de deux seems to hold time still, even as the promise Cinderella made to the Fairy Godmother draws ever closer. ▶️ Our 2024 production of Cinderella, starring Fumi Kaneko and William Bracewell, is now available to watch on Royal Ballet and Opera Stream. #TheRoyalBallet #Cinderella #FrederickAshton #Ballet #RoyalBalletAndOpera
