Royal Ballet and OperaA little Bank Holiday cheer ☀️ James Hay takes centre stage as Widow Simone in the beloved Clog Dance from Frederick Ashton’s La Fille mal gardée. The clogs may be heavy, but Ashton’s choreography is full of lightness, turning a village dance into one of the ballet’s most cherished comic moments. ️▶️ Our 2025 production of La Fille mal gardée is available to watch on Royal Ballet and Opera Stream. #TheRoyalBallet #LaFilleMalGardee #FrederickAshton #Ballet #RoyalBalletAndOpera
