Royal Ballet and OperaLeporello has been keeping count 📜 In Mozart’s famous Catalogue Aria, Leporello shows Donna Elvira the record of his master’s conquests, including an astonishing 1,003 women in Spain alone. Mozart gives the list an irresistible comic momentum, but beneath Leporello’s wit lies the darker truth of Don Giovanni’s world, where women are reduced to numbers in a catalogue. 📅 Don Giovanni returns to our Main Stage from 10 September. 🎥 Roberto Tagliavini #TheRoyalOpera #DonGiovanni #Mozart #Opera #RoyalBalletAndOpera
