Royal Ballet and OperaThe moon takes centre stage 🌒 As the moon moves across the sun in partial solar eclipse this evening, we return to one of opera’s most enchanting lunar moments: Rusalka’s Song to the Moon. In Dvořák’s luminous aria, the water spirit Rusalka entrusts the moon with a message for the human prince she loves, asking it to shine upon him and tell him she is waiting. 🎥 Asmik Grigorian ▶️ Our 2023 production of Rusalka is available to watch on Royal Ballet and Opera Stream. #Rusalka #SongToTheMoon #SolarEclipse #Opera #RoyalOpera
