Royal Ballet and OperaOne of opera’s most beloved arias 🎶 ‘O mio babbino caro’ is one of Puccini’s most recognisable melodies, sung by Lauretta as she pleads with her father to let her marry the man she loves. The aria comes from Gianni Schicchi, Puccini’s brilliantly comic tale of a family whose desperate search for an inheritance leads them to an audacious deception. ▶️ All three instalments of Il trittico are now available to watch on Royal Ballet and Opera Stream. 🎥 Ekaterina Siurina #TheRoyalOpera #Puccini #Opera #RBOStream #RoyalBalletAndOpera
