We laughed, we chatted, and most importantly, we got to talk about why Molly & Friends means so much to me. They’re learning about the world around them through the pictures they see. So why shouldn’t those pictures include everyone? Children with Down syndrome. Children who use wheelchairs or crutches. Children with hearing aids. Children with autism. Children who communicate differently. And children without disabilities too - all playing, learning and having fun together. Because that IS normal life. I want children to grow up seeing different abilities and disabilities as completely normal. Not something that needs to be explained when they’re older.
