- Fitness lies I refuse to believe during pregnancy 👇 ❌ “You have to stop working out.” ✅ Many women can safely continue exercising during pregnancy with their doctor’s approval and the right modifications. Studies show that regular aerobic exercise during pregnancy can support healthy cardiovascular development for baby by improving blood flow and oxygen delivery through the placenta. Always talk with your healthcare provider first. 🤍 ❌ “You’ll lose all your progress.” ✅ Pregnancy is a season of life. The strength, discipline, and healthy habits you’ve built don’t disappear overnight. In many ways, pregnancy has shown me strengths I didn’t even know I had. ❌ “Pregnancy means getting out of shape.” ✅ Pregnancy changes your body, but that doesn’t mean you’re unhealthy or incapable. Rest is important, especially when your body is working overtime, but movement still has a place when it’s appropriate for you. ❌ “You have to eat for two.” ✅ Pregnancy increases your nutritional needs, but it doesn’t mean doubling your food intake. Focusing on nutrient-dense foods can help support both you and your baby while giving your body the fuel it needs. 🤍 ❌ “You have to choose between your life and being a mom.” ✅ Motherhood doesn’t erase who you are. Pregnancy has shown me that I’m capable of more than I ever realized, and I hope more women walk away from pregnancy feeling proud of what their bodies and minds can do. At 26 weeks pregnant, I’ve learned that fitness isn’t about doing the most. It’s about listening to your body, adapting when needed, and showing up consistently. Some days that looks like a workout. Some days that looks like a walk. Some days that looks like rest. All of it counts. 🤍 What’s a fitness or pregnancy myth you’re glad you didn’t believe? #FitPregnancy #PregnancyFitness #26WeeksPregnant #PregnantAndStrong #PrenatalFitness

- Trying to be more transparent 🤎 I haven’t posted without makeup in months because I’ve felt so insecure about myself. I don’t want to be a hypocrite by telling others to love themselves through every stage of their journey while struggling to do the same. It’s such a strange feeling to be incredibly thankful for what your body is doing, while also feeling insecure in it. There’s a lot of guilt that can come with those feelings, but I know I can’t be the only one who feels this way. So here’s me, no filter and no makeup. Just trying to give myself the same grace I’d give someone else. 🤎 God bless #pregnancy #pregnant #secondtrimester #acne #nomakeup
