- DeletedJesus. My savior. My protector and provider. The strength in my weakness. There was a point in my where I thought I could do it all on my own. This was a defense mechanism I gained from my childhood. I never wanted to depend on anyone for anything, but I became so independent that I really thought I only needed myself. It got to the point where I was genuinely numb to feeling anything. I blocked out my feelings until I literally couldn’t feel anymore. I wasn’t a nice person. I had so much unhealed trauma and anger built up on the inside of me. I blocked out any type of emotion because I didn’t know how to process them nor did I want to face them. Everything was built up on the inside of me. I put up a front like I was able to handle it all on my own. I never knew how to express myself, so I would walk around with so much resentment and hurt that was left unaddressed. I let people walk all over me because I wanted to be perceived as emotionless. I remember being describing me as the girl who never cries, and I thought that was something to be proud of. I tried to fill the emptiness with more than you can imagine, but I gained nothing in the end because Jesus is the only way. He never said the weapons will not form, but He did said they will not prosper. Jesus is the only way to feel completely whole. There will always be a feeling of something missing until you give your life to Jesus. Allow Him in. Surrender it all to Him. I have never felt more whole. I am content in every circumstance because He is enough. He’s more than enough. Jesus is my guidance. He allows me to see life in a completely different perspective. I am living proof that Jesus Christ transforms and forgives. My old life and my old self are no longer who I identify as. I chose to forgive myself because Jesus forgives. Please do not think you are too far gone. What He declares, what He says is true, is the only truth. He wants a relationship with you. I’m not forcing you to do anything. All I’m saying is give Christ a real chance. He’s given you more than you can imagine🤍
