- The skincare-obsessed version of packing light. Some things are simply too good to leave behind. P.S. it’s the last day to get 20% off our whole site at MadHippie.com 🛍️ #madhippie #CleanSkincare #CleanBeauty #PhoneCase #fyp
- Skincare Maxing 101: Getting the most out of your skincare routine with exfoliating. Dead skin cells can build up on the surface of your skin, contributing to dullness and uneven texture. The Mad Hippie MicroDermabrasion Facial uses dual-action exfoliation with fruit acids + mandelic acid, along with volcanic ash + bamboo, to gently exfoliate that buildup and reveal smoother, brighter-looking skin. I use it 2x a week on clean, damp skin, rinse, and follow with the rest of my bedtime skincare routine. #skincareroutine #exfoliating #skincare101
- Your skincare routine shouldn’t feel overwhelming - here’s where to start if you’re new. Check the rest of the caption so you can customize it to you! Here’s where I’d start: 1. Cleanse: choose your cleanser Cream Cleanser → Great for all skin types, including dry + sensitive skin AND most oily or acne-prone skin. It’s a gentle, non-foaming cleanser that hydrates while cleansing without stripping your skin. Jelly Cleanser → Also great for all skin types, but I especially love this option for dry skin or if you want your cleanser to help remove makeup. It transforms from a jelly into a cleansing milk and leaves the skin feeling soft + hydrated. Cleansing Oil → Choose this if you want a deeper cleanse or need to remove makeup, sunscreen + daily buildup. It’s lightweight, non-comedogenic and gently dissolves everything without drying or irritating your skin. It’s also perfect as the first step of a double cleanse. 2. Vitamin C Serum There’s a reason this is Mad Hippie’s BEST SELLER. 👏 It helps visibly brighten + smooth the skin, improve the look of uneven tone and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It’s great for all skin types, including acne-prone skin, and chamomile + konjac help keep the formula gentle on your skin. 3. Moisturize: choose your texture Brightening Gel Moisturizer → Mad Hippie’s lightest moisturizer! It’s oil-free and gives you weightless hydration while helping brighten dull skin + smooth uneven texture. Great for all skin types and especially nice if you don’t love the feeling of a heavier moisturizer. Face Cream → Still lightweight and fast-absorbing, but gives you more of that traditional creamy moisturizer feel. It’s packed with peptides, niacinamide + antioxidants to hydrate and smooth the skin and is suitable for dry, sensitive, acne-prone, aging, combination + oily skin. 4. SPF: Daily Protective Serum The step we’re NEVER skipping. This is a clear mineral SPF 30+ made with non-nano zinc oxide, but it feels more like skincare than sunscreen. It’s lightweight, hydrating, won’t clog pores and blends into the skin without leaving a white cast. Plus, you’re getting skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid, resveratrol + sodium PCA while you protect your skin. Cleanse. Treat. Moisturize. Protect. Skincare really can be that simple. #skincare101 #skincaretips #skincareroutine
- Skincare tips that have (almost) nothing to do with skincare: You can have the BEST routine, but don’t forget about the little habits that can affect your skin too: Wash your pillowcase regularly: Especially if you’re acne-prone. Your pillowcase comes into contact with your skin, hair, sweat + skincare night after night. I aim for once a week! Clean your phone screen: Think about how many things your phone touches throughout the day… and then how often you put it against your face. I use an alcohol swab on my phone every night. Wash your makeup brushes: Product, oil + buildup accumulate on your brushes over time. Give the ones you use regularly a good wash instead of letting that buildup make its way back onto your skin. Brush your teeth BEFORE washing your face: Toothpaste + saliva can end up around your mouth and chin while brushing, so I like cleansing afterward to make sure it’s all washed away. Prioritize your sleep: Your skin does a lot of its repair + recovery work while you sleep, so consider this your permission to get those Zzz’s. Stay hydrated: Drinking enough water isn’t going to replace a good moisturizer, but staying properly hydrated is important for your body (and skin!) to function normally. Sometimes taking care of your skin goes beyond what’s sitting on your bathroom counter. 💛 Which one are you guilty of forgetting? 👀 #skinhealth #skincaretips #skincare101

- It’s called hibernation 💋
- Not sure what order to apply your skincare? Save this. The easiest rule to remember is to generally apply your products from thinnest to thickest, with SPF always finishing your morning routine. Here’s the order: 1. CLEANSE Start with a clean canvas to remove makeup, SPF, oil + buildup from your skin. 2. TONE After cleansing, reach for your toner or toning mist to prep your skin for the rest of your routine. 3. SERUM This is where you can customize your routine based on your skin goals. Apply your targeted serums before heavier creams + moisturizers. 4. MOISTURIZE Seal in hydration and give your skin the moisture it needs to support a healthy skin barrier. 5. SPF Always the LAST step of your morning skincare routine! Apply your sunscreen after your moisturizer and before makeup. Cleanse → Tone → Serum → Moisturize → SPF 📷 And remember: more steps don’t automatically mean better skin. A simple routine you’ll actually stick to wins every time. Save this for the next time you’re standing in front of your skincare wondering what goes where. #madhippie #skincaretip #skincaretipsforyou #cleanbeauty #skincareroutine #howtoskincare
- Meet the NEW Wrinkle Relaxing Eye Treatment 👀✨ Peptide-packed. No needles. This next-generation neuropeptide treatment was created to help relax the look of wrinkles + expression lines, brighten under-eye discoloration and de-puff tired eyes. As always, Mad Hippie uses intentional ingredients to make the best products for us: Syn-Ake → a snake-venom-inspired peptide that helps expression lines look softer, not set. Argireline Amplified → a next-gen wrinkle-relaxing peptide that targets expression lines + creases around the eyes. Haloxyl → helps brighten the bluish-purple type of under-eye darkness. Matrixyl Synthe’6 → helps soften the appearance of deeper lines over time. Polyglutamic Acid → a powerful hydrator that holds up to 5,000x its weight in water. And the clinical results are GOOD. In an independent 8-week study: ✨ 97% saw a measured reduction in fine lines + wrinkles around the eyes ✨ 97% saw more hydrated skin ✨ 88% saw improved texture ✨ 76% saw a reduction in under-eye bags ✨ 85% reported a more refreshed look Use a small amount beside + below the eyes after your serum, follow with moisturizer, and use AM + PM. This one is all about consistency. The peptides work cumulatively over time, with visibly relaxed expression lines expected in about 2-4 weeks. 💛 #darkcircles #undereyes #crowsfeet

- GRWM to play pickleball 🎾☀️ aka doing my skincare AND making sure I’m protected before I head out the door. The last step of my morning skincare routine is Mad Hippie’s Daily Protective Serum SPF 30+. If you don’t love the feeling of traditional sunscreen on your face, THIS is the one. It feels like a lightweight skincare serum, blends in without leaving a white cast + won’t clog pores. It uses non-nano zinc oxide for mineral sun protection and is packed with skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid, buriti oil, sodium PCA + resveratrol to hydrate, nourish and help defend against daily stressors. And because I’m about to spend the next few hours running around a pickleball court… it’s water-resistant for up to 80 minutes. Then we can’t forget the rest of the body! Ultra-Sheer Body SPF 40+ is also a clear mineral sunscreen made with non-nano zinc oxide. It’s lightweight, blendable + never greasy, with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, cocoa seed butter, sea buckthorn + vegan squalane to hydrate and nourish your skin while you’re protecting it. It’s also water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, making it such a good one for workouts, beach days + basically any time you’re getting outside. ☀️ Just remember: apply your SPF liberally + evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours or as needed. Now I’m ready to get absolutely humbled on the pickleball court. LOL. #spf #grwmroutine #mineralsunscreen
