Jeremy CarrascoWhy this AI video is confusing. Many people were asking: "Is he alive?", but the real question was "Is this AI?" This viral AI video of a woman in a train crowded by a large man is a confusing case. There are plenty of signs that it's AI-generated. The man's skin tone is too gray, there are signs that fade in and out of the video, the lighting is wrong, and there are duplicated characters in the background, among other visual AI tells. What makes it confusing is the account that posted it, which looks like a normal TikTok account. These kinds of videos usually come from accounts that post only AI content to farm engagement.
