Devon RodriguezHad such a genuine, wholesome moment with this guy named Bobby in Queens while I was painting this NYC subway sunset. Moments like that remind me why I do this, and I’m really grateful for people like him, and all of you, who support my work by collecting it. This piece means a lot to me. It’s my first oil painting print, and I’ve been working in oils since I was a teenager at the High School of Art & Design, so this feels like such a full circle moment. I painted it at the Bliss Street station, couldn’t have been a more fitting name. The whole experience felt like pure bliss, and I hope when you hang it in your home, it brings you that same feeling.
