- Following Christian Eriksen’s second collapse, CRY is once again highlighting the importance of cardiac screening for young people. One in every 300 people CRY screens is found to have an underlying cardiac condition that could be life-threatening if left untreated. This is why CRY is calling for wider access to screening, both in the general population and among athletes. Through CRY’s UK-wide programme, CRY screens more than 30,000 young people aged 14-35 every year and continues to lead research aimed at preventing young sudden cardiac deaths. #TestMyHeart #newsarticle #news #hearthealth #sports

During the segment, they were joined by Lucy Smith, who was diagnosed with a heart condition at a CRY screening and shared her heartfelt thanks in a truly powerful moment. - Major CRY Research Published. The largest-ever study (conducted by CRY) of cardiac screening in young people has been published in the prestigious Journal of the American College of Cardiology — and it confirms what CRY has championed for 30 years: heart screening saves young lives. CRY funded research analysed outcomes from more than 104,000 young people (aged 14–35) who were screened through CRY's nationwide programme between 2008 and 2018.
- 512 young people die every week in the UK from undiagnosed heart conditions. That's over 600 young people every year — and most of them had no idea anything was wrong. Sudden cardiac death in the young is not rare. Cardiac screening can change that. #12AWeek #HeartMonth
- 5Did you know? 1 in 300 people screened by CRY will have a potentially life-threatening heart condition. A simple ECG can identify these hidden conditions before it’s too late. That’s why we need cardiac screening for all young people from the age of 14. #SignThePetition and ask your MP to take action. Find out more via our linktree #HeartMonth
