Chaka KhanReleased this month in 1981, WHAT CHA’ GONNA DO FOR ME remains one of the strongest albums in Chaka’s catalog. Produced by Arif Mardin, it gave Chaka a #1 R&B hit with the title track and also featured favorites like “We Can Work It Out,” “Any Old Sunday,” and her take on “Night in Tunisia,” complete with lyrics written by Chaka herself. The album was later certified Gold. #ChakaKhan
