3 summers of my garden railroad 🚂 🌳
I rode through a train wash! 🚆🫧 Thanks to everyone who tagged @LA Metro and helped make this happen, and a huge thank you to LA Metro for inviting me out!
Our hummingbird story isn’t over yet 🐦😊 We’ve already had visitors at our new Birdfy feeder, and now we can finally see who keeps coming back. #birdfy
What happens when it actually rains? 🚂 🌧️
Over 90% of the track in my garden railroad was used before I started building. Most of it has been outside for over 30 years. The great thing is that you can restore it pretty easy. Used track can save you a lot of money in the long run regardless if you plan to run track power with your garden train, or just battery powered engines. If you’re in Los Angeles, a great place to check for used track and trains is @thetrainshack in Burbank. Tell Todd I sent you 😀 Other places to look for used track are Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, eBay or train shows. Good luck!
Would you ride it? 🚊
Right place at the right time 🤠 🚂
It was an honor to have Bill Rogers and Camille Dixon visit our railroad! They are the iconic announcers of Disneyland and California Adventure, as well as accomplished voice actors 😀
This should save me time watering the garden 🚿 🚂
A garden railroad is a lot of work in the summer 🥵 🚂
In 1896, the first electric streetcar traveled from the mountains above Altadena all the way to the beaches of Santa Monica. 🚋🌊 Known as the Pasadena & Pacific Railway, its slogan said it all: “From the Mountains to the Sea.”
100 years of passenger trains in Pasadena 🚞

what’s your hobby with @Michael Holland 🏰 check out his book if you love Disneyland!
My best recommendation for a beginner garden g scale train 🤠 this is the Piko White Pass Diesel, battery powered and remote control locomotive. It comes with the remote, all you need to add are high capacity, rechargeable aaa batteries from Amazon. I have EBL brand 1100mAh AAA batteries and a charger. A quick google search for PIKO 25-Ton Diesel RC Battery should give you many options to buy, or head to @pikoamerica
It never gets old watching Bill Iwan’s garden railroad 🛤️ 🚂
A quick tour of Patrick’s desert themed garden railroad. A longer video coming soon! 🌵 🚂
