kylie | pilates instructorI created bod. with future instructors in mind. I created something I wish I had when I first started. The course I took to become an instructor never taught me how to write a routine, didn’t teach me pregnancy, anatomy, injuries, cueing, etc. I had to figure that out myself and research. I knew when creating bod. I wanted to be different. I wanted to bring attention to the modern Pilates, a space looked down upon. “It’s not Pilates” “it’s a copycat of lagree” Pilates is a space for everyone. Modern Pilates keeps the core principles of Joseph Pilates and adds a modern twist with resistance, strength, and time under tension hitting muscle fatigue in a safe and effective way. Over the years of managing studios, being in charge of hiring, and mentoring my fair share of instructors, I noticed most felt lost after their 2 day training. Which was how I felt. Bod. Raises the standard. 1:1 calls. I want to know you. I want to meet you where you’re at. I want to be in contact with the studios and help them thrive with the best instructors out there. Bod. Has huge plans and you’re not going to want to miss out on this. My goal is to build a community. Open up conversations. No one movement is better than the other. We should be blessed we can perform movement. I’m just here to teach the why. Why you’re moving your body, why you program a move, why people should choose you and your classes. Be intentional. Be kind. And know the method behind the movement. bod. | modern Pilates education
