kylie | pilates instructorHere are a few of mine đ (Itâs just a preference, donât come at me) 1. No modification cues: Not every body needs the same version of a movement. Give people options so they can adjust based on what they need that day. 2. Not explaining what the move is working: Clients shouldnât have to guess what theyâre supposed to feel. A quick cue can completely change how intentionally they move. 3. When 10 seconds is definitely not 10 seconds: If you say 10 seconds, make it 10 seconds. Unpredictable hold times donât automatically make a class more effective. 4. âIf someone drops, weâre starting over.â: Movement shouldnât be punishment. If someone needs to stop, modify, or take a break, they should be able to without feeling guilty. 5. No water refill station: This one is personal đ Iâm a water snob. A girl needs to stay hydrated â especially during/ and after class. Whatâs your Pilates pet peeve? bod. | modern Pilates education
