Anxiety FitnessThe first screenshot is from someone I lived with at uni as I was beginning to become agoraphobic and experiencing frequent panic attacks. I went home to try and recover and this was when we were talking about the possibility of me coming back. The second set of screenshots is from an aquantance from my old school before uni who happened to live on the same road as me at uni, I was having a panic attack on the street and he recognised me, helped and sat with me and even checked in on me afterwards. I didn’t know if I would get better at that point, and threats of being kicked out definitely did not help my anxiety. I think the message here is to really think and be mindful of how you speak to people around you, you never know if someone is struggling and your words could make them feel worse, or they could help them and give them hope, or at the very least make them feel heard.
