AaronShawMusicWhat’s up with our kids not knowing the greatness of this art form and or these artist! “ you don’t know who John Coltrane is “ 🤦🏿♂️…. I’m currently soo frustrated at how the music curriculums are being handled in Los Angeles. Specifically in the inner city where I teach (south LA). There’s so many grants that are being awarded to non-local Non-profits that scam the community out of what these kids actually deserve , which is a real education in music. The NPOs and districts have no desire but to over- fill these class rooms up with all the bad apples of kids who are just there because they got kicked out of another class for behavior issues. These babies aren’t being taught anything of substance or heritage. ##jazztok##losangeles##fyp##musiciansoftiktok##saxophone🎷##saxtok##laartist
