ChariEyes Up โ Eyes down โ lets me tell you why: ๐ look at the spine when my eyes are looking down towards my feet vs when my eyes are up. A neutral chin is a technique win ๐ (just made that up just now) โก๏ธlooking down, gives the illusion of running faster, while putting your body in a position to run slower. You will run naturally fast faster with less effort if your head and eyes are up. โฌ๏ธ looking up can actually help you avoid obstacles better. Seeing something ahead vs right in front of you can allow you to move around sooner. ๐ฎโ๐จ tucking your chin can slightly compress your airway, keeping your head neutral, keeps everything a lot more open and gives you much more breathing efficiency If youโre running today, try looking down and then looking up and see if you noticed the difference in your positions, breathing, awareness, and overall efficiency! Looking down is something that happens naturally when we start to get tired, but making sure that weโre checking our surroundings looking up and keeping our head neutral is so important! โจ #letsrunthere #brookspartner @Brooks Running
