UNICEF USAMeet 5-year-old Taghreed, a child learning to live with a life-changing injury in the Gaza Strip. Since October 2023, more than 44,000 children in Gaza have been injured — many facing long-term physical and psychological trauma amid ongoing conflict. UNICEF is working to support children like Taghreed with medical care, rehabilitation services, psychosocial support and access to learning so they can begin to heal and rebuild their futures.
