UNICEF USABilal and his cousin went in search of food in the Gaza Strip. Instead, they were met with gunfire. "Before the war, I was always top of my class," Bilal says. "Now, I’m lying in the hospital. I lost my ability to walk, and even the right to get food … I’ve lost my future." No child — no one — should endure this. UNICEF remains on the ground, calling for immediate, safe and unhindered humanitarian access to deliver lifesaving support. Children need supplies. They need support. And we need peace — now.
