UNICEF USAAt an outpatient treatment site in Khartoum State, #Sudan, mothers and caregivers gather with their children to receive lifesaving nutrition services. This area, Jebel Aulia, is one of two localities in the state now at extreme risk of famine after more than two years of conflict. Across Sudan, severe acute malnutrition among children is rising sharply. Violence, disease and hunger are putting millions at risk. In clinics like this, UNICEF is helping keep the most vulnerable children alive — providing treatment, supporting caregivers and offering families a chance at recovery.
