Travel Nevada“Let’s tour 3 distilleries that truly embody northern Nevada. In partnership with @travelnevada, I was able to explore the Northwestern region of Nevada to learn about 3 major distilleries. While the scale and approach of each operation was so different, all of them were contained the same ingredient: passionate people. My journey began in Reno, getting a look behind the scenes at the modest, but mighty operation behind Ferìno Distillery. Started in the throws of 2020, this business has grown from producing just a cinnamon cordial inspired from family ties to Italy, to a full blown portfolio of Italian cordials—and as of last November, the locally loved Amer. We eventually made our way to Minden, just south of the Carson Valley to visit Minden Mill Distilling. While also a young operation, they hold a proud title of being a true estate distillery: meaning, everything they source for their production is within 3 miles of their facility. Truthfully, it’s one of the most beautifully built distilleries I’ve been to, not to mention the bar in their tasting room is whipping up some incredible cocktails too. Last on our list was the coveted and loved Frey Ranch Farmers + Distillers. I’ve personally been a fan of the brand for many years, but being there to experience their hospitality and story was priceless. Also a full blown estate distillery, they are masters of their craft and take massive pride in the land and grains they grow on it. They continually experiment behind the scenes, and create once in a lifetime batches of whiskey—and if you ever want to taste it, you better make friends with Russel.” 🎥 + ✍️: @Chris
