TialeoniwrightHow I GREW & REPAIRED my bleached hair, whilst bleaching it at home 🤎✨ NOT AN AD / no paid products -these are genuinely the products & things that have worked for my hair after trying ALOT in this process. My hair has was SOO BAD 😭 Extensions at home, scalp burns from an extension-removal product (also at home… never again), postpartum hair loss and years of bleaching. It became extremely dry and broken, I had pieces literally missing and about 500 different layers. I looked like Prince Charming from Shrek at one point x I had professional nano-bead extensions fitted for a while as my natural hair grew. They helped me feel more confident during that awkward stage, but I always wanted my own hair back and the freedom to use whatever products I wanted without the restrictions that come with extensions. I now bleach AND trim my hair myself at home. I use @Jerome Russell Bblonde products for bleaching, and because the damage/loss left me with natural “layers”, I section my hair and gradually trim a few cm from the ends rather than trying to make everything one length. The BIGGEST change for my hair has been HYDRATION. I’d tried soooo many products and was previously using a lot of protein. After watching @Zach Mesquit , who creates loads of content around blonde hair, I decided to remove the additional protein products I was using and started using the @Wella Pro products he recommended. My hair has completely changed 🤍 MY ROUTINE 🧴 I now wash my hair around 3x a week. I used to wash it once every 1.5 weeks because it was so dry and I thought I needed to let my natural oils build up… they never did 😂 Wash day: ✧ Double shampoo — @Moroccanoil Shampoo & Conditioner ✧ Mask for 10–15 mins - my favourites are Jerome Russel Bblonde Bond Building Clear Gloss Mask or Wella Professional Ultimate Repair Mask. Sometimes I use the @Garnier UK Banana Hair Food Mask too. ✧ Finish every wash with the coldest rinse my shower will go to 🚿 I wrap my hair in a cotton T-shirt instead to ‘towel dry’ NEVER A TOWEL. Then I use A LOT of Wella Professionals Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue, leave it for a few minutes, followed by the JeromeRussell 11-in-1 Wonder Spray - this is AMAZING and a great cheaper option to the Wella if you can’t afford it but I use both. I dry my hair on the coolest setting and usually put it into a loose plait/protective style afterwards. The other things I consistently do: ✧ Silk bonnet every night ✧ Scalp massage for around 5 mins a day - I habit stack this to help me remember ✧ Biotin vitamins (the one I use is linked in my Amazon storefront) ✧ @Holland & Barrett Pumpkin Seed Oil (most of my vitamins come from here) BLEACHING 👱🏼♀️ I know people will hate hearing this but for my own hair, I’ve noticed less damage since I started bleaching it myself than when I had it professionally bleached. That isn’t me saying everyone should bleach at home - my hairdressers were great and there’s no hate towards them at all! I personally try and use a lower-volume developer and now take things slower, and afterwards I ALWAYS focus heavily on conditioning/hydration . And obviously the most scientifically important step: I stick affirmations EVERYWHERE and have decided I have Cinderella hair and my hair is growing. Nobody can tell me otherwise x 🤍 NEW HAIR-GROWTH PRODUCTS : I’ve just added @The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density, the @Kitsch scalp/hair oil applicator and @Bare Anatomy Rosemary & Rice Water Spray to my routine. I’m going to find the old T-shirt I marked my hair length on at the beginning of the year and compare it again after using these so we can actually see whether they make a difference 👀 Again - NOT AN AD. I bought these products myself & I’m just sharing what has worked for MY hair after believing I would have to have extensions for the rest of my life & my hair would never grow or feel healthy again 🫶🏼 - HYDRATION, HYDRATION HYDRATIONNN #hairtransformation #hairgrowth #healthyhair #creatorsearchinsights
