TialeoniwrightGym Day ✨ If I had to start again as a beginner, this is exactly what I would do: ↙️ • Stretch first Warm up your muscles (less risk of injuring yourself) • Step machine I’m not a cardio girly, so I like to get this out of the way. The stepper is the machine I’ve seen the biggest changes from - toning, calorie burn, and it’s the only thing that actually makes me sweat (a girl was blessed with being sweat-free 😅). • Pick 4 machines/exercises As a beginner, machines make everything easier - the form is supported, the weights are controlled, and you can switch between them to find what feels right easily. On each machine do 8-10 reps x 4 (If beginner finding your weight) Start with no weight or a very light weight, then slowly increase until you hit your 8–10 rep max. You might not find the perfect weight in week one, and that’s fine. You’ll get closer every session. If you’re unsure on form, search the exercise on Google, YouTube or TikTok (that’s my fav) there are thousands of helpful short videos. • Remember: Everyone in the gym is focused on themselves, not you. Stay in your lane, focus on your progress, and walk out feeling proud every single time knowing you have really pushed yourself. Fuel your body Prioritise protein and fibre - it makes a huge difference in how you feel. The gym has helped me with my mental health, self-confidence and self-worth if you are not doing it for your bod, do it for your brain 🤍 My fav drink from the vending machine in the gym: @Applied Nutrition ABE Apple Burst performance energy drink, she tastes divineeee 😮💨✨ #beginnergymtips #gymtipsforbeginner #gymtips #gymgirl #creatorsearchinsights
