Every day I wake up overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to call this house my home. I still can’t believe it’s mine. I genuinely have to pinch myself that this is the warm and cozy house I get to wake up to every single day. As I embark on this house renovation, which starts in the coming weeks, I find myself freaking out because I have zero clue what the hell I’m doing. Like… at all. Although I have helping hands, it’s still brand-new territory for me. Almost all of the advice I’ve received has been negative. “Be prepared to spend more money than you expect.” “Hope you have somewhere to live because it’ll take way longer than you think.” “Make sure you stay on top of your contractors because as soon as they book a job with someone richer, they’ll disappear.” 80% of the “advice” sounds like this, it sends me into a really dark place. For a moment, I started believing their story had to become mine. BUT… then I remember how powerful of a creator I am. How I manifested this home. My career. My car. My animals. The city I live in. None of it came from fear or doubt. It came from the way I chose to think, the actions that followed, and an unwavering belief that it was possible. So then I think to myself… this is just the next “thing”. The next project you have to put your mind toward. Come on, Glen. Shift into your best manifestation gear and kick-start what I know will be the most beautiful and rewarding renovation process. So now, in addition to everything else I manifest, I will manifest an abundance of income to fund this renovation, incredible clients who gladly pay my worth, a contractor who believes in my home and wants to see it through with care and craftsmanship, a designer who pushes me outside my comfort zone to create spaces I could’ve only dreamed about, and the flexibility and freedom to enjoy the entire process with little to no stress. Let this be your reminder: the stories people tell you are often reflections of what happened to THEM, not predictions of what will happen to YOU. Wish for the stars. Believe you can accomplish anything you want AND ACTUALLY believe it. Don’t let your mind fill itself with self-doubt and endless “what ifs.” Believe it or not, you have the power to create a life beyond what you can currently imagine. What matters is your mental discipline. Your ability to plant positive thoughts instead of negative ones, your willingness to believe you can create the life you want, and the courage to take action.
